PART 14

Maan went into his room ...

It was dark , he switched on the light but there was no electricity ,There was s no light no noice ,

Koi Aahat nahi ,koi roshni nahi.

Only" darkness and silence..."

He went near the window and opened the door , The light of moon fell on him ,He saw the lights on the road. He sat near the window and leaned his head against the wall.

He sat there looking at the Moon ,How bright it was ...The full moon.

Full moon is not constant , there are nights which have half moon , quarter too.

He kept staring on the road with his head leaning against the well.

Is it "Darkness and Silence"

Or "Peace and the darkness before the day"

The whole night Geet sat on the floor with her head leaned back on the bed.

There were no tears in her eyes , but her eyes sure conveyed something...not desire , not pain ,not hatred , not love...What's that her eyes had .

Something that's captured and locked somewhere in the corner of her eyes.

The next morning Maan wopened his laptop , he saw her picture and then turned towards his other work...

He then looked at her picture.

While he was doing that , he got a call..That call automatically brought smile on his face.

He went near Geet and knocked the door , she opened it.

But now everthing seemed different . She is the same girl he met on the first day of his tour yet she is now different , but why??

Maan : Geet mere saath chalogi??

Geet : Kaha

Maan : Bas ek baar, please.

Just for the sake of he thougth but these words did travel from his heart to lips but stopped at the lips ..Just for the sake of ...wha???t he thought , he smiled on himself.

Geet agreed to go with him without disagreeing??

But why ?? even she didn't knew it.

They both drove towards the outskirts of the town , Through the empty roads and the healthy trees.

None of them spoke a word during the journey .

They both saw a small dhaba on the road , they stopped for a while to have something.

Geet saw Maan..

Those words revolved in her mind "Geet main tumhe pasand karne laga hoon"

He said those only once. Just once and he didn't even mention it again but she knew that he meant whatever he said that night , that anger, that care , those eyes that were questioning her , his words.

Geet started to speak in a low tone.

Geet : Maan mere saath job hi hua main use nahi bool sakti na hi pal pal un cheezon ko yaad karke rob hi nahi sakti..The time gave me the strength to move ahead , time dried my tears , thankfully it gave me the strength to depend on myself , but with a restriction to move alone with silence.

Meri zindagi me kisi aur ki aahat sunne ki himmat nahi hai mujhme , because I know that someone's close presence in my life can only remind me of things I don't want to remember ,may be it'll pull me back. It will take away all my strength.

Maan listened to her calmly.

Nothing was told directly but both knew the meaning of it.

They had some water and moved ahead.

Finaally they reache their destination.

It is a hospital.

Geet : Maan , hum yaha kyun aaye hai??

Maan : chalo mere saath , he smiled and took her in

She went with him.

Just then she saw some boy rushing toward Maan , woh thik ho gayi ,mama theek ho gayi Maan

Tears were rolling down from his eyes , he was shouting in excitement ..!! He took Maan with him

Geet followed them...

She saw a lady in almost 50 years lying on the bed , her eyes were filled with tears ..

That boy who hugged Maan went to the lady and he knelt down and holded his mothers hand , tears flowed from his eyes constantly seeing his mother's eyes open..

Mama..Itne saal mai intezaar karta raha , ki aap coma se bahar kab aayengi , every night and da mama...My only hope was to see you open your eyes ,that boy wasn't able to say anything more ,

He held her mother's hand as tight as possible ,and the mother was still on bed had tears in her eyes,

He kept on opening up his pain in a broken voice and the mother saw him with tears in her eyes.

Maan went near the boy sat near him , and touched his mother's cheek , shw wasn't able to speak properly but tried her level best to open her mouth and speak , she touched her son's hair...

She still tried to speak properly..

Maan smiled with tears in his eyes after watching her movin after years.

Geet was unable to control her feelings , She ran away with tears in her eyes.

She ran away and stood near an empty place rewinding all the gestures of the son and mother.

How badly they needed each other's company ,how much he cared for her , and same with the mother , still they had to live their lives without each other.

Both cared for each other , there was enough love , but still tears and pains reserved their place.

Jab jab dard ka baadal chaya

Jab ghum ka saya lehraya

Jab aansoo palkon tak aya

Jab yeh tanha dil ghabraya

Humne dil ko yeh samjhaya

Dil aakhir tu kyun rota hai

Duniya mein yunhi hota hai
