Geet was never the same Geet after the holi sequence where all of a sudden the bubble got burst and Geet playing holi with Dev left many feel shattered and betrayed,now that was the kind of heavy impression and created by Swati Pandey,Priya and Mrinal through their creative work.

But ever since Mahesh and Nageen took over it hasbeen nothing less than a nightmare, a bad dream for fans to watch and follow Geet.

Geet has got an extention of 3 months as we all here and the news is floating around.

Point is with Mahesh Pandey and Nageen Mirza given the liberty and authority to assasinate,ruin and mess up all the good work done in the past,does it make sense for the makers of Geet to continue for 3 months,specially when it is now evident that their entire focus is on the other star plus show which is getting undue advantage only becoz of the channel reach.

Bussiness sense says,producers of Geet are right,becoz they are earning far more better out of the other show but from a fan's point of view I have a simple question.

1) Why cant Geet hui Sabse parayii end on Starone and a new season begin on Star Plus with Drashti and Gurmeet as leads and on an even bigger canvas and budget?

I dont say I am the best and what I have written should be considered,but the fact that the charisma of the pair Drashti and Gurmeet has enthused and inspired many like me to visualise them and write for them,has given tons of ideas to the makers,which went unnoticed.

The makers can atleast consider the idea and story flow,cant they,and more importantly if they like it they can make necessary changes to it accordingly and use it in their own manner.

a) Drashti and Gurmeet are undoubtely the biggest superstars of television who are now made look suffocating and let down by a team of incompetant story and screenplay writers,adding to frustation of fans who have to bear the disgusting creative work focussed on parallel track characters,feel sorry for the leads DD and GC for no scope yet they have to stick around out of loyalty and some basic human ethics.

Star Plus and anyone of the above mentioned track will give DD and GC and the series alongwith fans the necessary platform and more importantly a deserving platform to give nightmares to other stars and shows and give them a taste of true fan following and what star power means.

b) A recarnation or death of one of the lead characters,who is replaced by a look alike will provide the necessary ingredient to relive the passion and romance which audiences have died for and are still demanding now and again.

c) Geet has huge fan base,thanks to Drashmeet or Gurti,but a minimal viewership,reason:

pathetic and irritating creative work and absolute insult of the chemistry between Gurti,where other tracks are focussed upon and leads left with a role of playing as cupid.

There is no point in watching Dev and Nandini,she is an headache to watch indeed with all her unwanted nakhraas and looks more like a burden on leads,rather than her role complementing or adding some flavour to the lead characters.

Dev's role in any case was never loved after the secret was revealed,so he definitely needs to go.

Amritsar track characters including Lucky and Mama and now preeto were bearable only for one odd month,but unfortunately they started in april and are still continuing to torture fans till late october and if things dont change then may be Geet will end on a bad note becoz of Mahesh Pandey's amritsar track characters.


One simple question:

Cant the makers of geet think of a recarnation track or a look alike track for atleast the last 3 months to give fans some good memories before they end the show or if the new track demands more monetary inputs then end the show before the revamp and come back on star plus with a fresh new track with one of the ideas and relive the same passion again on a bigger platform with even bigger audience reach and definitely access to new ones who may have heard about the show but never happened to watch it.

Common sense says, Drashti and Gurmeet are an asset together and cannot be let go just like that and definitely not wasted and insulted by making them to work for some undeserving,incompetant writer and team of technicians who dont have the gene to show them the way they deserve.

What ever happens to the series and irrespective of whether it ends on a good note or a nightmare ( Mahesh Pandey) note,Geet and Gurti will always have the support of their fans,now and ever.

I have to be honest with you. I love watching GHSP. The reason is DD and GC. I love the way they portray their characters. I love the way they set the screen on fire with their sizzling chemistry. The sad part is, if there is no GHSP, then there will be no DD and GC working together. This is my belief.

They may get offers from other production houses but I know DD will not accept an offer with GC. I believe you should go out and explore other venues and do not be repetitve. I believe in DD's concept of working with new people. Isn't life all about reaching new heights and new venues?

I want GHSP to continue for at least another 6 month to a year. If DD and GC and people associated with GHSP are honest enough, they can bring this show back on track. The show needs people willing to step up and bring it to the right track. Is it possible, yes? Do the people involved with show want to step up, well that's another story?
