Kesar was looking at gulaal leaving his house fondly just then kunal came near and said "bhabhi ko sab bata diya"

Kesar replied "haan"

Kunal "par yaar tune yeh sab kyu bata diya….arey yaar kahin yeh baat hum par bhari na pad jaaye pata hai na bhabhi cid officer hai…kafi bada panga le liya hai"

Kesar smiled at him and said "chill maar kuch nahi hoga mein hoo na

And then he dialled a number from his cell and said "hello human right commission offfice? Connect me to director's number kehna neeraj mehta ka call hai"

Meanwhile gulaal and dushyant sat in their jeep

Gulaal turned to dushyant and said "sir aapka shaq ekdum sahi hai"

Dushyant said "kya kah rahi ho tum"

Gulaal said in low voice "sir woo aap kah rahe the kesar aur neeraj ka connection…"

Dushyant replied "to tumhe bhi lagta hai neeraj ka connection hai kesar se"

Gulaal said "yes sir mujhe lagta hai infact aisa lagta hai kesar aur neeraj ek hi hai"

Dushyant was shocked

He asked "aisa kyu lagta hai hai tumhe"

Gulaal was feeling awkward she didn't wanted to tell about her meeting with kesar so she said "sir kesar k awaaz uski height aur eyes bilkul neeraj se milti hai isliye is possibilty se inkaar nahi kiya jaa sakta"

Dushyant said "haan kiya to nahi jaa sakta hume pata lagna hoga"

Meanwhile he received revji call

Revji had called him and gulaal in his office

Dushyant said ab boss ko humse kya kaam pad gaya

CID office

Revji was sitting in his cabin he was fuming in anger

As dushyant and gulaal entered his cabin

He asked "tum neeraj mehta k ghar gaye the"

Dushyant said "jee sir woo museum k choori k investigation k silsile mein"

Revji replied "to kya kisi k bhi ghar chale jaoge….dushyant is baat ko samajh lo k hum bewajah civilians ko pareshan nahi kar sakte"

Dushyant replied "par sir mein aapse kah chuka hun k kesar aur neeraj ka kuch connection lagta hai mujhe"

Revji said "aur kya hua tumhare is shaq ka…..tumne do baar use interrogate kia ek baar uske ghar mein search bhi karwaayi kuch mila? Hum yun baar baar kisi bhi insaan ko tang nahi kar sakte"

Revji said "tumhe pata hain naa usne humare khilaf human right comission mein complaint karwaayi thi kitni badnaami hui thi humari aur woo human rights waale aur social activist kaise humare peeche pad gaye the…aaj bhi phone aaya tha wanha se….dushyant tum logo k wajah se mujhe kitna kuch sunana padta hai hum CID officer jaror hai par kisi bhi insaan par haath nahi daal sakte"

Dushyant said "par sir gulaal ko bhi lagta hai neeraj aur kesar ka connection hai"

Revji yelled "enough ap logo k hunches se hum criminal nahi pakedenge mujhe saboot chahiye….agar aap logo ko lagta hai in dunno mein koi connection hai to sabit karo"

Dushyant said "sir but"

Revji shouted at the top of his voice "enough tum log jis insaan k baat kar rahe ho woo ek reputed insaan hai high society high profile logo mein uthana beithna hai….so stop ur nonsense aur aaj k baad neeraj k ghar tum dunno nahi jaoge…that's an order"

Dushyant and gulaal didn't said anything they came out of the cabin dushyant slammed the door in anger

He said "damn it ! "

Gulaal said "sir koi baat nahi par mujhe samajh nahi aa raha hai agar neeraj aur kesar ek hi hai to phir yeh chori k samay mumbai mein kaise tha"

Dushyant replied "yeh india hai gulaal yanha jab bhi choori hoti hai sabka hissa hota hai aur tumhe kya lagta hai inti kimti cheez k chori ho jaye aur indian bureaucrats ko kuch nahi malum hota…nahi gulaal sabka hissa hota hai upar se neeche tak saara department corrupt hai I m sure agar neeraj hi kesar hai to isne sabko bribe kiya hoga"

Gulaal said "par sir ab kya kare ab to sir ne hume kuch bhi karne se mana kar diya hai"

Dushyant said "officially to kuch nahi kar sakte par unofficially kar sakte hain"

Gulaal asked "kaise"

Dushyant replied "gulaal tum neeraj par nazar rakho unofficially tareeke se 24 hr us par nazar rakhna dekho kya karta hai kisese milta hai koi bhi clue haath aa jaaye to bas kaam ban jayega…"

Gulaal said ok sir and she decided to kept eye on him

From the next day gulaal started spying on him

Neeraj mehta was quite opposite to kesar….kesar was a thief and a carefree brat snob…….while neeraj mehta was a perfect gentleman….handsome educated refined man…..person that instalty drew anyone attraction

His employees dotes on him….he paid them 10% above industrial wage rate and provided several amenities….his social circle consisted of aristocrat businessman and bureaucrats…he was in eligible bachelor list of the ladies…..he spent his Saturday serving ppl in old age homes and his Sunday morning was reserved for the orphan and street children in the orphange build by him he use to play football with them

gulaal was spying on him and hadnt kesar confessed before her she would have readily believed him to be neeraj alone

she wondered y neeraj was living a life of kesar was there a need ? he could easily be neeraj mehta y he wanted to be kesar?

Neeraj Mehta's office Morning

Gulaal was sitting in her jeep outside neeraj' office a 12 year kid come near her jeep…he give her a cup of tea and heart shaped choclate and before gulaal could give him money for tea he ran away….gulaal was amused

She said to herself arey paise bhi nahi liye

And in afternoon a pizzaboy came and gave her pizza

Gulaal took out money

He said "nahi madam iska payment ho gaya hai"

Gulaal thought for a sec and said "lagta hai duhshyant sir ne bhijwaya hoga…"and she smiled

8:30 pm At night

Kesar came out of him office and drove home…gulaal followed him…..kesar was sitting in his room and gulaal was sitting in his jeep outside his bunglow

Kesar looked out of window and was seeing gulaal…..after half an hour he said to himself "itne achi raat hai aur tum itne door ho…not done gulaal"

And he thought for a sec and then took out his sports bike keys

He came down and took out his bike and with high speed drove away

Gulaal was alarmed she said to herself "itni raat ko kesar itne tez bike chala kar kaha jaa raha hai peecha karna padega"…and she started her jeep and followed him

Soon they reached outer delhi it was dark lonely abondened dense area

Gulaal stopped her jeep in a little distance

And she saw kesar was sitting on his sport bike

Gulaal said "lagta hai yanha kuch deal hogi…pakade gaye kesar ab nahi bachoge"

And she waited for some incident to happen

But there was muffle silence and kesar was resting on his bike

2 hrs later

gulaal was tired waiting and nothing happened…finally she decided to get out of the jeep and enquire kesar

she came out and walked towards him and said "yanha kya kar rahe ho

kesar replied "arey tum yanha kya kar rahi ho"

gulaal replied "officer hum hum kahin bhi kaise bhi pahunch jaate hain

to bataya nahi yanha kya rahe ho"

kesar replied "taare gin raha hun"

gulaal was irritated she said "kyu apne terrace mein kya taare kam pad gaye the jo yanha aa gaye ginene"

kesar smiled and said "wanha kuch romactic nahi tha aur yanha jyada acha lag raha hai yanha par mein hun tum ho aur taare hai….chalo saath mein ginete hai mein 5600 tak gin liye"

gulaal replied "oh shutup koi baat nahi mat batao abhi gin lo…jail se taare nahi nazar aate"

and she walked towards her jeep and she started her jeep but it didn't start

gulaal was furious she said "ab isko kya hua" she lifted the bonnet and started looking at it…..

kesar smiled and asked from behind "kya hua gaadi kharab hui hai"

gulaal took a deep breath walked towards him and said "kharab hui nahi kari gayi hai yeh tumhara kaam haina"

kesar replied and said naughtily "arey mein kyu karunga kya mein yeh chahta hun k tumhare is jungle mein gadi kharab ho jaaye aur phir tum mujhse lift maango aur phir mein har 15 minutes par break lagau….aisa chahta hun kya"

gulaal smircked "huh hopeless dreams par koi fayda nahi mein apne collegues ko call kar dungi"

kesar smiled and said "yaa sure par yanha network nahi hai"

gulaal "koi baat nahi mujhe chalna aata hai training mili hai mujhe"

gulaal said "waise bhi delhi hai hi kitni door"

kesar said "yaa sirf 10 miles hi to hai kaun sa door hai….jao aur saath mein woo waala song bhi gana kadam kadam badaye jaa"

gulaal replied "apna bakwaas suggestion apne pass rakho" and she started walking

kesar called her from behind "gulaal"

gulaal looked back irritatedly

kesar said "waise kya wolf aur junglee dogs se bhi ladne ki training mile hai"

gulaal was stunned she asked in low voice "kya yanha wolves bhi hai?"

Kesar said "haan kyu tumhe darr lag raha hai"

Gulaal replied "no and just shoo off"

And she turned back after a sec she turned and saw kesar was nowhere

She said "yeh to sach mein chala gaya"

Gulaal was all alone in the area she started walking in the lonely roads there was no sign of human beings

She was little scared and irritated with her decision to follow kesar without informing anyone

After walking a distance she said "hey bhagwaan kab tak chalungi network bhi nahi hai aur koi bhi nazar nahi aa raha….aur yeh pagal kesar waise to har samay flirt karta rehta hai aur ab is jungle mein akele chod diya agle baar pakka shoot kar dungi"

She closed her eyes and kesar words echoed in her ears "ankhein band karo tumahare saamne hoga" and his image flashed infront of her eyes…gulaal opened her eyes and saw kesar was waiting for her in his bike

Gulaal looked at him and walked towards him their eyes met and then gulaal didn't said anything and quietly sat in his bike

Kesar started his bike and started driving gulaal was sitting in a little distance she was holding back of his bike kesar looked around and delibrately applied brakes and in sec gulaal collided on him her head rested on his back and her hand moved on to his waist…before gulaal could move her hand away kesar raced his bike at the speed of 130 kmph and gulaal squeezed her eyes shut whole journey she holded kesar too tightly and after 15 minutes kesar apllied brakes again and gulaal collided on him again

Gulaal was irritated and said "damm u brake kyu laga rahe ho"

Kesar smiled and said "memsahab ghar aa gaya hai aapka"

Gulaal looked around she was standing outside her home

Kesar said "wiase agar man nahi kar raha to hum waapas long drive par chal sakte hai"

Gulaal said "jabardasti k drive ko long drive kehte ho"

Kesar replied "par tum to poore raaste mujhe se gluefied thi jabardasti kanha thi"

He then said in husky voice "gulaal aaj meri pehli long drive thi ek ladki k saath aur mujhe nahi pata tha yeh itni khobssorat hogi…thanks and take care"

He kissed his fingers and gulaal moved her face away he smiled and without putting his finger on her cheeks he drove away

Gulaal stood there looking at him for a long time strange she never went on a log drive with a boy today she was forced to come but she didn't felt bad she was feeling strange !
