The Bidai scene..I just love how she puts the Kumkum hands on the wall..have always loved that Rasam...Telling you the girl is leaving her last mark on the house she is leaving!!! So sad *sniff**sniff*

People so misconstrue this rasam...telling that parents are forced to clean the feet of their jamai and daughter..but in reality what is the 'bhavna' behind this is that after the wedding ..which is performed by Hindu rituals..the couple becomes the image of 'Shiv Parvati' and so the parents wash their feet..Generally this is done in the mandap itself...

Paan ba smart..tried to take Gulaal to JK to iron out the differences, because bidaai is a moment where even a stone hearted person would feel like crying..but obviously JK is more stone than a stone hearted person!! She rebukes them!

Bidaai's alwaya make me sad and this was toh apni Gullu kii bidaai..so made me even more sad😭
Anywho, JK is so selfish, just hated the way she completely ruined Gullu and Vassy's feeding each other moments with her senseless cribbing!! Gullu handled the situation so beautifully na? JK and Giga were going on and on about being treated like second rate baraatis (which they were), Reva tried to pacify them but failed miserably, the poor girl serving them daal had her head bitten off and then Gullu came in. It was really sweet...the bride herself served Giga, JK food and then sat with them till they finished. The act should have humbled JK but I suppose we should not expect any acts of humility from JK...right?

Ohhh...the bidaai scene was just...😭 I loved the background music that was being played during that scene - akhand soubhagyavati - but I remembered that the same tune was played for Talli's bidaai. You know...sometimes I used to get the feeling that the CV's used to create situations where Talli was being compared to Gulaal...so Talli was sort of being made Gullu's protegee...I bet if the show would have gone on...Talli would have emerged as Gullu at some point which would have made me JUST 😡😡😡 I mean look at all the importance Talli was given just when the show was about to end and we were CRAVING for Gul Kes!! By the way Srushy, thanks for explaining what the feet washing, touching ritual is all about😊 You know, my cousin got married a few years back and we had the same ritual but while it was going on she just burst out crying and I kinda understand why...its the way the ritual is carried out...all the elders of the family coming and touching her feet. By the point you get to that ritual, the girl is an emotional wreck...because its nearing time for the bidaai and then all the elders who have blessed her all throughout her life, given her chocolates and gifts and scolded her etc come and touch her feet...

Poor Poonambha...asking PB and the rest of the family to take care of her Gulaal and wahaa pe bhi. JK has to maaro such a scary dialogue Poonam must have almost had a heart attack!! I missed the third part of the episode...so skipping to the fake GP! You know, I have watched this scene before and I used to think that the whole saanp biting Kesuda was a bit OTT but now that we have seen the whole show to the very end...I understand that something very dramatic was needed for that Gullu Vassy GP to get botched up!! She was never supposed to have had that GP with Vassy besides by pulling Kesu out of danger...she set the path for the future...right? What she did was no small feat...she practically brought Kesu back and I know that because of this incident...Vassy Gullu will not have a SR either😉

Awww...I wish this show was still going on...😭
