HI All, I am regular viewer of Balika Vadhu and I liked it too much. But recently the character of one Sadhu is shown in negative role, which deeply hurt me. I request you to stop these kind of things considering religious sentiments of people.It may be drama but still it hurts me deep down in heart.

One: no one here is depicting him negative. It is the show's writers/producers/directors. People here are mainly viewers
Two: stuff like that goes on in real life too. Sometimes it is sexual abuse sometimes it is just plain fraud.
Three: this is a fictional show where every character is not only made up they are also psycho

If it disturbs you then don't watch it. It is fiction.

it was just to highlight this thing happens in india and we all know and people in villages watch this serial with more interest and so if they show this it is right they will get knowledge about such happenings .it is fiction don't take it either

The reason they need to show this track is because there is a culture of such blind faith in all holy men that for every one genuine good man, there are 100 fraud men who like to cash in on the blind faith and generosity of the naive villagers.

This is an excellent plot by the BV CV's to highlight the fraud holymen and to showcase the horrible misuse of people's trust in them. Am so happy they have done so. In my opinion all sadhu's are Dhongi babas. the real sadhu who is actually trying to find God and the meaning of life probably seeks it alone in some place - not in the middle of so many chele and bhakt making him feel like GOD himself.

But lets say that people in villages watched this track... and something stirred in them regarding suspicion of their own God man -- what steps could they take to verify the validity of their sadhus/gurus?

Well Tinoo, for starters just raising some healthy suspicion would also be an excellent starting point. As long as even some people decide that letting impressionable young girls or unaccompanied women cannot be sent there at odd times, that would help.

No true Sadhu has so many chele and an entire empire and aura of secrecy around them. If there is any area of a sadhu's residence that is not accessible to people of the area - that wud be a valid ground of suspicion and shud raise questions about what exactly he does there that has to be kept so secretive !!

Agree with hooked, so much secrecy surrounds these gurus😳-in nithyanand scandal there were stories that he even made his shishyas sign non disclosure agreements 😲on whatall happened in his ashram😲 ...there are so many scandals ,so many people fall for these scamsters,poor innocent girls blindly believing in these fake babas.😵.

By showing this dhongi baba track the CVs highlighted a very relevant issue even thoughit meant losing on TRps , this week BV slipped to 8th spot ..hopefully it will rise again with next parpotha track ...
