KBC wrong answer ?? 4 oct,2011

did you noticed today show ? the last question on which "Inderjeet" used lifeline(2x) but lost & after that correct answer as C (CHairman,UGC)shown , however He was chairman till 1987 only

Question was , what was Dr. Manmohan SIngh in 1991 before becoming Finance Minister ?

According to wikepedia B is the correct answer

I checked multiple info sources
including Wikipedia---
all sources indicate that Dr M.Singh
was a Gov of RBI 82 to 85 and
then Deputy chairman of Planning
commission from 85 to 87 and
the he was in Switzerland till he
is noted to become FINANCE MINISTER
IN 1991---
AND THE QUESTION WAS WHAT WAS
DR MANMOHAN SINGH IN 1991 before
he became thr Finance minister.

unless a specific explanation is given
by KBC. ( in any case the answers

The correct answer is Chairman UGC. He became the Finance Minister on 21st June 1991
