But that's Iccha's character. That's how almost all positive herione bahus are. They are all 2 dimensional, and all portray characters with similar values. Iccha is the good one, she always puts herself last, she thinks of others, she doesn't care how badly the person treated her, she can always forgive and forget. She is willing to take a baby home like she found a lost wallet or puppy. Her good values come before all logic or practical emotions.
I feel like the problem is not only with the cvs but also with the audience. This is a not the first time writers have created such a character. They are the backbone of our Indian television. After the honeymoon period is over for the audience when the couple is no longer falling in love, having eye locks and longing for each other we realize our main protagonists lack depth, and they are unrealistic. Then we get annoyed. It's no longer enough that the heroine happens to be a part of our favorite pairing. Well sometimes it's enough, and people can overlook it. So I am guessing cvs here are hoping for the same.
