Everyone was tensed about Vidya's condition after she was shot by Brahma while trying to save Gaurav, but Brahma has been more worried than anybody else – not because of guilt but because his future depends on the outcome.

When Gaurav told everyone that Brahma shot Vidya, Aditya was shocked. Brahma asked everyone to claim the shooting was an accident as he fretted over the unconscious Vidya. In today's episode, Vidya will wake up and give her statement to the police.

A Starplus.in source reveals, "Everyone in the family was shocked to know that Vidya was shot by Brahma while trying to save Gaurav from Brahma's wrath but they were stunned when they heard Brahma asking them to say it was an accident in their statement to the cops. Vidya will finally wake up and everyone will be relieved. The cops will come to get her testimony and she will give a statement in favor of Brahma, claiming the shooting was an accident. Brahma will be relieved as will be Devyani. But that does not put an end to Brahma's tourbles. To watch the twist make sure you don't miss Maryaada."

A recuperating Vidya aka Vindhya Tiwari explains why she made a favourable statement, "I have forgiven Papaji as he committed this act in anger. He is my father-in-law, so how can I go against him and my family? I know it was a shock for him to know that Gauravji is gay. I think anyone in his position would have reacted in the same way. I still love Gauravji and our relationship is not like a usual husband-wife. It is pure love which we share with each other. I am indeed surprised to see Gauravji's changed behaviour towards me and that is another big reason why I didn't go against my sasurji as it would have created more problems in the house. I don't want people to ask questions like why Brahma attempted to kill his own son and I don't want it to be publicized that Gauravji is gay. I hope my statement made everyone happy in the family."

It was obvious from the precap of Wednesday's show. Why give Brahma the chance to threaten her? She should have just kept quiet and then told the truth to the police.

Devyani should be convincing Vidya to tell the truth, not be relieved. So what, now both the women are becoming hopeful of a 'marriage' between Gaurav and Vidya?
