Before I make dis post, I first want to apologise for my previous post (the poll) because I think it has unintentionally hurt many sentiments... Guys I m really very sorry! I did nt want to upset you all đ
Now coming to this post. First of all lemme tell you that I am a BIGGG fan of this show and currently I am enjoying each and every part/character in this. The character of Navya itself acts as a role-model for all youngsters who find it difficult to balance b/w modernism and tradition. But there is 1 aspect in her character which I find slightly hard to digest...her lack of ambition... đ˛
Being a girl of 21st century and that too living in a city like mumbai, how can she be so unambitious?? She really has no plans for her career! Whenever she talks about her dreams, she always talks about either "loving her family and friends and being loved by them'' or '' settling down happily with anant''... Even Ritz and Appy have their own career dreams (remember when once Gautam asked them about thier future plans, Appy replied that she wants to do job while Ritz wanna do her MBA!) but never ever did for once Navya express any such desire for her career...
May be the reason behind this is her umbringing... Navya has seen her elder sis Renuka getting married at an early age and also in her house 1 hardly talks about her studies... Everyone seems to be concerned of her marriage.. Navya's papa is also not really interested.. Remember, soon after her exams, her papa casually says "Beta tum sirf kisi tarah pass ho jaana hamare liye utna kaafi hai.."
it seems like Navya will also slip into household of Bajpai like all the dukhi aatmas without any complaints... She may become a shadow of Anant after marriage, but this is not what girls of today dream of, atleast not me!! This is definitely not the 'nayi soch' of today... Am I wrong??
