I think the show Maryada should take a bollywood change now...2 ways:

Devyani really had twin boys when she had Guarav. The grandfather kept one...and sent him away. He actually grew and behaved a lot like Brahama - he would make Brahma pround.

Anyways he ends up somehow coming back and falls in love with Vidya and changes his ways.

or,

Gaurav and karan are presumed dead, rather than tell the entire family, Devyani hires a lookalike Guarav who happens to hetrosexual and he enters the fa mily and falls in love with Vidya...

And they get together as Vidya thinks that maybe Gaurav has changed.

Real Gaurav comes back and there is the lok chupi played for a while, but in the end all ends well..ie. Real Gaurav ends up with KAran and New Guarav (who's name is Prem or Angad) ends up with Vidya.

Maryada is not a bollywood story ,..they are following a realistic story ..No hope left for Gauarv and Vidya..still have to say They look great together ,...I like them more than Adiya ...[ADIYA's story is underutilized]

Blimey, heterosexuals and your views. In spite, of knowing Gaurav being gay, you want to see Gaurav and Vidya somehow really get together.

I wish there was a separate planet or a continent, if not, at least a country for homosexuals…………far and far away from heterosexual expectations. Amen.

excuse me I did not say anything against homosexuals. Everyone has an individual choice. Whether or not I agree is a different issue and I'm not going to choose the IF forum to debate this.

Having Vidya and Gaurav was just one of options on the poll. Furthermore, I'm a fan of Guarav and Vidya and was disappointed the way the storyline went as I really thought the 2 shared amazing chemistry. I will be further disappointed that Vidya ends up with Cheenu.

If I wanted realism I would look around me in the community and real life. I tend to look at soap operas as a piece of fiction where the viewer escapes into an alternate fantasy. In my fantasy soap opera world...Gaurav's big secret was that he wasn't gay but maybe his kundali was out of whack, or he had an illegitimate child or another wife or girlfriend...

Just to add I did not give any opinion of Homosexuals or Hetrosexuals.

Overall though..Vidya and Gaurav look way way better than Karan and Gaurav...Can you really disagree with that???

Though Gaurav being gay is like a beautiful thing, and he should really break some barriers but Vidhya and G look so good together :')

The only possible end to their story should be Vidya and Gaurav divorcing and choosing to stay the best of friends.

It is genuinely gross how people actually want the show to heterosexualize Gaurav.🤢
