You are right killing your self is a crime but one has to be at the lowest possible point to even consider it. It's very sad and tragic that some people feel it is the only way out and for some people it actually is the only way out. Last year in London, 2 women jumped in front of the train and later they found out that it was a mother and daughter. They were going through torture from their husbands but there was no one there to help them. They couldn't run away because their husbands would hunt them down any kill them anyways and they couldn't go to anyone because all they say is "just get on with it". So in such tragic cases suicide for them, is the only option, because they feel death is better than living torture.

I know they didn't show all of Raunak's doings' which is why people are not being able to connect to him but the fact he tried to commit suicide, that itself is enough to suggest that he was not well mentally.

Anyways yes like you said I too want Panna to start behaving at least courteously. That would be an achievement in itself.

As usual I loved your title Sheemu 😃

My opinion about this issue is this:- Forgiving and forgetting are two different things.. Panna or even Raunak's parents will never forget what Raunak had done.. The parents have already forgiven him..But for Panna to forgive him is not so easy IMHO.. I have seen situations like this.. Things like this take a long long time to heal.. But at the same time, she can be nicer to him.. But acceptance will come only once she forgives him completely.

Sheemu Good Post.. i didn't saw friday episode.. But I can tell that whatever Panna is doing wrong...What's the difference between her and rounak..

What actually Panna want.. she want to move away from rounak, or she want to start a new life with Rounak.. I think she should just think once what She really wants, if she is continuing like this with rounak.. the distance between them would increase more and it's becomes painful to fill the gap later... Now Rounak is trying to fill the gap between them.. Now she should also try to move a little and forget the past .. It's time for her to MOVE ON...

I seem to have missed this post 😆

I also think that Panna's current attitude toward Raunak is wrong. Yes, he hurt her, and what he did was completely wrong but Panna's attitude is wrong too. People deserve to be given a second chance because everyone makes mistakes, even Panna. As long as one is mindful of the fact that he made a mistake, and is willing to make amends for it, he should be given a chance. And here its not like he was unfaithful to her, he's just a weak person who shirked his responsibilities and ran away. That is a mistake, but not an unforgivable one. 😛

Yes, Panna comes from a broken home and her parents' bad marriage must have had some effect on her psyche. But one cannot base one's own marriage on one's parents' marriage. Panna ought to realize that there's a big difference between her father who willfully deserted his family when they came in the way of his ambition, and Raunak who merely shirked his responsibility toward his family but at NO point did he ever think of leaving Panna for the psycho Peeya.🤢

Problems in relationships occur because each person is trying to focus too much on what the other person does not have. Affection should be valued, not perfection. Also when Panna married Raunak, she married him for better or for worse. So if he's a weak person, as in if he's a person who shirks his responsibilities, then Panna should realize that this is what he is. Its not like Panna is the perfect woman either. Earlier she never cared for her in laws. But she learned her lesson. Similarly Raunak too can learn from his mistakes.

A marriage is something that needs to be worked upon constantly. It is the duty of both the persons to keep a marriage going. It saddens me that Panna has stopped working on her marriage. If its really getting too much for her to handle, then its best that she should end things amicably and move on.

Oh yes definately forgiving and forgetting are 2 very different things. I know from experience that even though it's tough to forgive, it's still easier than forgetting.

In my eyes he was more of a sinner to his parents. For Panna there were other options but for the parents there were none. Raunak is their one and only child and when he leaves you I can only imagine the trauma parents go through. So if they're behaving normally then why can't she? Again I'm not saying that she should be like before but at least talk nicely to him. I've also seen many situataions like this and much worse and compared to them this is not that bad! I know it takes time to heal and only time itself will mend the broken heart but I've had enough of her arrogance and disdainful haughtiness.

I agree totally. I think she herself is a little confused so she doesn't really know what she wants herself. 😕The sooner she changes her attitude the better it will be!

Fabulous post Gauri and I agree with each and every point you've made! So nice to know we share the same feelings. NOW It's about time their story moved forward!
