A serial which became our life !!!

A serial, which will always be remembered in the history of TV Serials !!!

A serial, which went beyond the boundaries of customs traditions laws rules of the society and its people... It gave the different concept of love, relationships, fear, anger, happiness, sorrow, faithfulness, loyalty, respect, honour, greed, lust, fate n destiny !!!

It was the story of two people, two people who r very different from each other yet so similar when it comes to viewing the bond between them...

It was the story of a girl who is full of life, enthusiastic, stubborn, sincere, cheerful yet so simple girl blessed with the power of finding water hidden beneath the layers of earth...

"Gulaal"

It was the story of a boy who is cheerful, honest, lovable, naughty, helpful, sincere...

"Kesar"

This story was about their journey of life, how they lived before, what happened when they met, how they met, how they created a beautiful relationship and then the circumstances brought their lives to change completely...

The destiny had planned the union of Kesar and Gulaal, but in this journey of their lives, they faced many challenges, problems, situations, yet they handled them all, they became happy, frustrated, angry, sad yet they continued to live ...

Gulaal, a girl from Rashipur, was destined to marry twice in her life n moreover, blessed with the power of water divination... Vasant, a young man from Talsaagra came in search for her as his village was facing a serious femine n drought... he came to find her so that she can help him find the source for water n so his village can have peace all around... Vasant met Gulaal n soon they fell in love, through vasant, gulaal met kesar... Kesar was vasant's younger brother n soon after they met, they vr having this special bond between them, they vr each other's best friends n kesar was so much impressed from this girl from the very first day... then the story unfolded many evil plans, circumstances, people... n they reached to a point where vasant was killed by his own brother dushyant... gulaal came to know about it but hid it from the rest of the family n all the people as she didnt want to destroy vasant's dream... his dream, of having a peaceful family, peaceful village, whr all people vl live together with happiness without having any problems or disputes between them, he dreamt of Kesar being a successful n educated person...

For this dream, gulaal faced many problems n when things became really difficult, she had to do deeyarvattu with her diseased husband's brother n she choses Kesar...

After this also, she faced many oppositions but she was really determined n this time also passed... Kesar was a kid of 12 years at that time n this relation started to affect him n he started to openly declare that gulaal is my wife...

One day the story takes a new turn when Kesar comes to know about this secret, n he becomes so enraged that he stops talking to gulaal n behaves very badly with dushyant... due to all this n due to Kesar being so much affected by the deeyarvattu, he is sent to hostel n comes back after ten long years...

The story completely changes when Kesar who went as being a 12 years old, comes back being a young boy of 22 years... he was still angry with gulaal n did not behave in a good way with her... this thing upsets gulaal so much... slowly n gradually the bond between them became like before n the attraction which kesar was having for gulaal changed into love... the story took many twists n turns, gulaal was really not ready to accept kesar as her husband but kesar was so determined that he vl not leave her but slowly he was made to understand that love doesnt mean to only take, it actually means to give, ur happiness lies in ur loved one's happiness so kesar made gulaal free... he decided to break the deeyarvattu but then they vr given a trial period of three months n it happened in these three months that gulaal's feelings also changed... what ever kesar did for her, the way he stood by her, the way he cared for her, all these things made her fall in love with him, without her even knowing this n finally on 28th august 2011, v witnessed the union of our most beloved couple Kesar n Gulaal 😛 !!!

(I have skipped many points os the story from the above detail as i wanted to make it short n to the point 😳)

This thread has been made for us all, for all the fans of this amazing serial 😃

The serial remained on-air for 9 months n 14 days 😃 It was first aired on 14th November 2010 n the last episode aired on 28th August 2011 !!! V came here, met each other, became friends, had a beautiful time of our lives 😃

The serial has now ended but it vl always be in our hearts 😳 n the friendship which v all share vl never break insha Allah 😃, this thread is made for us all, to come here, n celebrate the ending of this serial with a total of 212 episodes 👏 V r here to have an ending party, v cant let our beloved couple KG go like this 😃 so v vl cry, v vl laugh, v vl take out our frustrations, v vl enjoy the best moments but v vl celebrate... Come on friends join in 😃 🥳

My fav part is h u brought different situations..😆I mean d role reversal of d very same 2 characters..😳amazing..⭐️

Coming..to serial..I have started it only for Neil..😳kyon ki I am his fan..😳when I saw d first promotion of Gulaal.(.actuallly KB ended October 25th..i.e..3 weeks b4 Gulaal.).so me in frustated state n just blindly ignored it..n when I saw chotu kesu..actually Neil was in my mind..😃haye re..Neil kitna talented n if he gets a role in this show..that would be amazing.na like that..😃😆

And literally my wish came true n Neil got kesar's role..😲me was on seventh heaven..😆I thought that talented actors n shows are well recognised by SP..so Neil can have a good life here..😳

After watching 1 week..I really admired d cast, n d story..😳..n at Gulaal I was like frustated..n had fixed a thought..that this woman will only fall for other man(kesu)when d vassy gives her a green signal..😆(rem my post in first days)

But donno..h I am attached to this forum n lots of sweetest friends..😳n loevd loved loved kes-gul story..😳itz beautiful beyond d words..👏

So..I wish ki..hum sab hamesha saath rahe..n cherish d memories..n don't want to loose anyone of u..😳love u lots...🤗

Okay, well I remember when I first came across Gulaal on TV. It was the scene where Kesar was casing Talli, and my bad luck was that I changed the channel and it landed on Talli laughing because Kesar caught Gulaal instead. I just looked at Talli pissing herself and was like 'Ew', so I moved on to watch Star News instead. Like can you even imagine that? I know right. Then like weeks later I was really bored and again I was skipping through my channels and I came across Gulaal once again. This time I skip it to see Kesar holding a glass of water saying 'Gulaal pi le warna'. Yes, I actually pissed myself laughing at all the possibilities of what he would actually do. 1st thought was that he'll just splash the whole thing on her.. but the obviously my mother corrected me and went over the whole of the show until that point. and yes, i freaking loved it. Days later I googled Gulaal to see who played Kesar, then I came across this website. How could I not join this? Since then I've actually been a no life and revolving my life around Gulaal, quoting Gulaal, pretending im Gulaal just to imagine being with Kesar. And now it's all gone. But I don't worry, I still have Navya and IPKKND.

Oh, I forgot to add.. Haha, im pretty sure Manasi/Neil made an IF account with a random username, and they stalk us daily. Well, that's what I like them to believe if you're reading this. Hi. 😆

shit man, i feel like this is the saddest day of my life.

what am i gonna do😭.

it actually still has not sunk in, but will tommorow when at nine there will be no gulaal, no Neil, no Manasi, no nothing!!!!!!!

nice thread though.

and i just wanna say thanks gulaal for giving me memories that will stay with me for the rest of my life!!!!!.

love all of you guys and hope we can all keep in touch on this forum, now and forever, with vm's, reliving old moments or only just to say hi.

Keero - 🤗 Thank you for putting together this thread... just looking at all those images was like... OMG, this is how far we have come... sigh! Why should all good things come to an end?! I will miss this show sorely (for 4321652437614376125387 time, and still counting) and just the way I've made it such a huge part of my routine... I don't know how long it will take before the songs on my IPod at the gym don't remind me of GK no matter the tune... or everytime I'm online doing work and need to get my every 10 minute distraction, I wont just have this forum to come to and rant about what to expect in that day's episode... Everyday that I've spent time making daily posts, i've always been neglecting some work or the other, and spending a minimum one hour straight up in addition to the show time 30 minutes, to just gush about what happened, what can and will, and how it links to what already did - now when I wont have that reason to procrastinate work - its going to a void... I remember the time I was initially here on the forum, replying to posts by Ganga and Lennie and Srush (mostly) and then Nur Piyu and Reemz were telling me 'why' I should make posts on this show, on Ganga's thread I think... I remember something that Reemz said - and I think I'm always going to remember it by with regards to the show - I don't think any other show can give you a platform to go into deep analysis than Gulaal ... you can write essays on it, how do you resist?! - so if anyone has ever had a problem with my ramblings, you know who to blame 😆 But how true is it! Gulaal has had so many layers as a show, and to its very complex but so humanly credible characters! The actors have been spectacular day after day, the dialogs have rarely been off the mark - and thank god for the lack of melodrama! When you think of the show's there - as a typical Indian show, it could have gone all awry and been nothing but saas bahu crapfest for 9 months and whatever days!

I'll stop praising the show - because on that too, one can write essays - I need to resist! Thank you again for the post.

A proud and ardent fan of Gulaal, forever!

wow kiran your thread is great...i really liked the transofrmations they're cute...can tell that you put great effort into this thread...i'm really going to miss this show, and this forum, after watching each episode i would visit the forum to see what everyone had to say about that episode and the different polls everyone had up and i loved joining in...oh i'm going to miss kesgul...and wait i can't forget jamuna...aww i'm going to miss her and her sarcasm too much..wish this show could have lasted longer, would have been great :)
