Since Iam a Neil fan I was interested in his shows and I have followed him since the days of KB and so was the reason for me to watch Gulaal since its leap ie after Neil's entry. And thereafter I was attached to the show, it became a part of my daily life, a routine thing.. without which I feel as if I had missed out something. 😃

Next to KB, this Gulaal show will also be close to my heart as I have admired many beautiful performances by Neil in both the shows. Like Yami says.. Thanks to Actor Neil Bhatt because of whom I started watching this beautiful show or else I would have missed it.

As far as Kesar and Gulaal are concerned, these two characters have brought out the best of Neil and Manasi as an actor which we all could witness it through the show Gulaal. Their performances have made the show a special one and this will be cherished by me forever... I have adored mostly all the scenes of Gulaal... I just now came to know that the final good bye scene from the recent episode was one of the favorite scenes of Neil which actually I hated but now I like that scene very, very much because Neil likes it... 😃

Regarding me, I have had nice time in this forum.. chatting and discussing with friends, reading the posts.. ahhh sometimes I avoid long posts...😆 but not all the time, and commenting on it and it goes on... I have enjoyed to the fullest in this forum.. And more than that I have discovered many new and good friends. Not only that I have learnt many new and good things from my friends.. you see.. am a good learner 😆 😳 .. And Iam always thankful to all my friends who have helped me out in certain things that I have asked for. 😃

My heartfelt thanks to Neil and Manasi for keeping us entertained throughout all the episodes. Wishing them best of luck...

I can't believe the show has ended...I might sound naive but even when we first heard about the show ending...I laughed because I was thinking...naaahhh...SP will never end this show...it is the channels goldmine...why would they end it???

I remember watching the first promo of Gulaal - this happy bubbly girl dancing away, meeting Vasant, running through the desert - Gulaal hai, Gulaal hai, Gulaal hai. I remember telling my mom - yeh lo...ek aur show about a chulbuli girl and I bet she will meet the man of her dreams, get married, he will promise her the world and then the SAAS BAHU drama will start...bas ho gaya nayaa show puraana😆. That was it...I did not watch the show...

I remember watching the next promo - Gulaal and Vasant talking, Dushyant aiming the gun at Vasant and then BANG!! A gust of wind came and changed Gulaal from a married woman to a widow... I remember thinking...arrey???? Sushant Singh is in this show and he is the BAD GUY???? Yeh, kyaa?? Abhi toh shaadi hui thii and they have killed off her husband! I did not watch the show...

I remember watching the third promo - young Kesu in the haveli alone at night...shadows tormenting him. Gulaal entered and said - I will protect him...by now my curiosity was getting the better of me but I was like - chal, I'll start watching it if I get time!

I remember watching the fourth promo - the entire village is asking Gulaal to do the DV if she wants to stay in the village. Dushyant was sitting on a Khatiyaa, he slipped his feet off the mojri's and looked expectantly at Gulaal, she got up and offered the mojris to young Kesu. Kesu stepped into then and both of them walked away. I remember thinking - arrey...yeh toh kucch alag hii ho rahaa hai...no saas bahu nonsense? Yeh kyaa hai...? I did not watch the show...

I remember watching the fifth promo - Gulaal running through the village in that beautiful Brown Lehenga, she was telling the girl running with her that she had not seen Kesar for 10 years. The camera zoomed to a young boy who emerged from a barrage of laathi's and while the camera stopped at his face - we got a glimpse of a shocked Gulaal staring at him while Piyu Maari played in the background...

I know I started watching the show after the leap and the scene that got me hooked was the imli scene...Kesu brings imlis for Gulaal but gives them to Talli. He walks away but watches with a sigh as Gulaal bites into an imli...a far away look on her face...that scene got me hooked. Right there, the expressions on both their faces was just wow! Kesu looked at her with so much wonder and Gulaal was lost in her memories...I do kick myself for not watching the show from day 1 but once I started...there was no looking back! I have gone back and watched almost every episode...

I wanted to talk about all the promos because all those moments are now etched in my memory...the build up to what the story was supposed to be...not some SAAS BAHU nonsense but instead a beautiful love story. Every character is precious...including Durgesh. If any of you have not watched the episode where Durgesh begs Gulaal to accept his rishtaa...PLEASE DO!! That man has acted brilliantly!

Sorry this post is long but this is my Gulaal journey...I started as an ignorant, naive viewer slotting Gulaal as another monotonous drama but just like all of you...I was won over and I am so happy and proud to say that I am a TRANSFORMED GULAAL LOVER!!!😃

PS: I have downloaded all the promos I have mentioned but I can't find the leap promo anywhere...the one where Kesu was introduced after the leap...if anyone of you does find it..will you please please let me know? That was the first time Piyu Maari was played on grown up Kesar and Gulaal...😳

It is 9 o'clock and I have nothing to watch now.😭

A bit of memory to share with all of you about Gulaal.

The first promo in November made me interested about Gulaal first time. The music, camera work, site, actor actress everything was outstanding and I became interested to watch Gulaal. After Vasant Murder, I was only interested about Kes/Gulaal interaction and their devine relation.

After neil's entry, it was a magic. I have watched every episode several times. It is not that Neil is a very attractive man but he is one of the greatest actor. I just saw an interview where Gulaal is saying Neil has more number of fans than her, because of girls, but I would say Manasi and Neil both are exceptionally good actor actress. But if Neil get a little more point from me , it is because of his versatility of emotional expression, which is extremely unique than any other male actor available in Indian television. To me Neil's postion is just after Amir, Shahrukh, Hrithik, Ranvir(as new comer). Sometimes Neils is better than them. Sorry yaar but it is true for me because of his acting skills.😳 In case of Manasi, as a female actress, she has that level of diversity, but the character Kaser made Neil more popular for its' uniqueness, but not because of his female fans. He did it so successfully , he deserves appreciation as a TV superstar.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I as a person never go to forum, as too busy with my work. The power of acting of these two stars(Gulsar), drawn me to the forum for the first time on 12^th june. I was too late to join the forum. But I was a regular silent forum-reader from very beginning. After joining forum I have got a new world. A very beautiful world for stress release and I could know such wonderful people here.

From today we have nothing to say new. We can only talk about past .

AWW kiran i loved it!!😳😔 I was reading it through and suddenly got a feeling of a goose bump. This serial is really special. And you have made a beautiful thread ending party! I am just not being able to say good bye to them. They have created the magic that wont go forever! I just saw neil and mansi's interview, and i was thinking how happy they are, and proud that this serial has ended with the happy note. And we are at a same mode too but it still hurts when you think about it that they will never going to come as gulaal-kesar! *Sigh* i got up in the morning around 8:35, thats how i usually get up after i started to watch gulaal and waits until its 9. Todays i did the same thing and i was smiling that my habbit is still there, but whats the use, my serial wont be airing at that time. But then i realized that i can stil go on to my gulaal forum and see what my dear friends are dooing!!😊 Loved your thread dear! I pray to ALLAH that we do get to see Neil And Mansi together again since Neil himself said that he is talking to other production houses memebers that he mgiht be in to other projects. I am sure this guy will get more and as well as mansi. I hope they come back together😳
