This is really crazy.. with every other episode people want Maan to fall in love with Geet and realize and accept it , and for memories to come in like tidal wave and bam! in one week we are done.
People, this is the kind of impatience that gave us the Amritsar track, where there was no story, no progression, only forced romance, so much so, .. that we had actually started begging the CVs to stop giving us Maahi's as they had no effect at all... and we groaned whenever one was shown..
Right now is the meatiest twist they have had in ages- to bring back the old passion to rediscover their relationship, to get our own Maan Singh Khurana back, to get GEET back on track.
We are all extremely spoilt and want only Geet -Maan tracks, well.. this is one. Pure Geet Maan nothing else.
But for heavens sake, appreciate the story and the complexity they have brought between them, that makes us again wait for every episode with bated breath.
Once again- Maan HAS LOST his memory.
He has NO RECOLLECTION of Geet. NONE WHATSOEVER. Try and understand what that means.
He has only mildly started warming up, actually after today's episode many people rejoiced that Maan has fallen in love and lamented that he doesn't realize it and so wants to keep distance.
Sorry people. He has NOT fallen in love with her yet.
Today what he felt was guilt. It was brought home to him again, that he does say some pretty nasty things to her when in the end she does not come out guilty at all. It is today , he kind of realized that she is not entirely at fault. Maybe none of them are.
He remembers, scenes, where Dev. Daadi told him of the marriage, where he rebuked geet etc.. and then Dev comes and very reasonably yet not very forcefully, tells him again that he should take care of his actions should they alienate the one who loves him the most and whom he finds most precious.
After this, it settles down a bit deeper in his mind, that his behavior was atrocious. That is why he goes to her to make amends.
Later when he hears her say that she thinks hes changing, hes again frustrated. Frustrated cause its not feelings for her that made him warm up. No. It was guilt.
He again laments as to why he draws up a blank when he tries to think of her. She's in his mind all the time , yes, but that does not comfort him. She does not seem like a stranger, sure, but he does not know her either.
The other argument last week was- why he insulted her in public. That is because everyone around expected him to behave like a loving husband. She teased him and challenged him in front of everyone. He was made to loose his reserve in front of everyone.
That is why when the misunderstanding occurred, he wanted to alienate himself from her in front of everyone. SO that he is rid of the pressure and expectation from everyone around him. Hes not a man who can pretend for long. it would suffocate him.
So also right now. It was just out of a bit of compassion what he did, and Geet misconstrued it to be out of his intensifying emotions for her. Shes not at fault either. Shes dying for his love, and going by past incidences she compares straight forwardly and concludes that his change is due to love.
Now, when hes shown thinking in his room, the flashbacks with her, he argues that she doesn't feel like a stranger, that sometimes he finds himself letting go, but does not know why.
In all his consciousness, he may have started seeing her as another human being who warrants a bit of respect, but not as his wife.
He cannot stand giving such false hope to her, and anyone in the household, where he knows he will not be able to follow through. Of course he decides to put an end to it at once.
Asking for pure unguarded emotions is asking for too much from Maan Singh Khurana. He will take his time, and give as much and when he wants to. as always.
If he didn't crash her hopes, he would have had to take all her antics and expectations silently and that would have overwhelmed him, annoyed him, and not let him open up to her.
Now that we know hes going to be gruff with her, its way way better. This way, Maan gets to vent whatever annoyance he feels, he gets to pretend being angry, while slowly she gets closer to him. Oh now I love the this track all the more... more more more..😍😳
Now I even love the promo more(the coffee one😳).. its going to be way deeper than what the first look let out...😳
