Meet TV actress who got nicknamed by PeeCee, adviced by Ranveer & was called reincarnation of SRK

You might know her for her 'magical powers,' or for her sizzling chemistry with a costar, who she is also very 'close to.' While her TV shows may not have had a very good run, this beautiful actress has been a part of projects that come under the 'favourite' category for a lot of us. While she enjoys a surreal social media fanbase, the last few shows of the actress have unfortunately tanked off.

While the actress may currently have been reeling from the abrupt ending of her show, she was once called the 'reincarnation of Shah Rukh Khan,' by a very popular Bollywood director. The actress who started her career in the entertainment world as a child actress, then went ahead to be a part of various popular films, which also includes Zoya Akhtar's 'Dil Dhadakne Do.'

Well, the actress we are talking about is none other than Khushi Dubey. Khushi, who was last seen in Star Plus' Jaadu Teri Nazar, recently got in an exclusive chat with India Forums and revealed being a part of Vikram Bhatt's Ankahee, where she essayed the character of Ameesha Patel and Aftab Shivdasani's daughter. The actress revealed how Vikram came up to her mother to ask her if Khushi ever had 'dreams of popular actors' and if she felt she was a reincarnation of Shah Rukh Khan or some other popular actor. She says, ''Chaar saal ki age mein maine kiya tha Ankahee, which was Vikram sir’s biopic. And I was playing Amisha and Aftab Shivdasani's daughter and that was actually a biopic of his –Vikram sir's biopic. So I was playing the then Krishna, like his daughter. Okay, and Aftab sir was playing Vikram sir. So very few people know this actually that it’s actually his biopic. Toh haan, wahan se meri journey start hui."

Further revealing how she got selected for Ankahee, Vikram Bhatt, the actress reveals, "Ankahee mein toh I remember mera aise hua tha audition ki sir just asked me that if you were asleep, and then you get up and I’m your dad, how will you greet me? Ab meri toh bohot black memories ho rahi hain kyunki main tab chaar saal ki thi. I remember, I just got up and I said something something I don’t remember. I was a very talkative, I was a very expressive kid. Not talkative, expressive. Toh and he was like baaki saare auditions band kar dijiye please. She’s locked and he asked all the rest for audition— he sent them home.''

''He told my mom ki aapko aisa lagta hai ki ye kisi ki reincarnation hai? Yeh kisi ka... koi inko aise dreams aati hain kya? You know, like koi aise, Kisi ki dreams, Shah Rukh Khan ki dreams? Aise kuchh kuchh, kisi purane actor, veteran actor ke dreams?

Kuchh aapko lagta hai? So she said, "Nahi, aisa kuchh toh mere ko nahi pata. Toh then he said that, 'Main aapko bata raha hoon, if she stays back in the industry, she has the caliber to become the next Shah Rukh Khan. And I was just four back then. So that’s a— that’s a very beautiful compliment to say to a mother,'' Khushi reveals.

Not only Ankahee, Khushi was also a part of Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra starrer 'Dil Dhadakne Do.' The actress reveals being given a 'nickname' by Priyanka Chopra Jonas. She says, ''Dil Dhadakne Do mein bhi aise hi kuch hua tha ki… so wahan pe bhi I was the youngest. I was playing Putloo's character. I was playing the sister of Priyanka Chopra. Toh PC had kept my nickname 'Puppie' karke. And everybody used to gel well with me and pamper me. I was smallest there."

Khushi also went ahead to reveal what advice did she receive from Ranveer Singh and said, "Toh I remember wrap-up party chal rahi thi ando we were all dancing and bohot music chal raha hai, some people are drunk, kuch kuch chal raha hai. And I was probably in my fifth sixth standard, I don’t remember. Yeah, fifth sixth standard. And he came to me like, 'Come here.' Like, 'Kya ho gaya you? Come come here. Listen, you have a lot of capabilities. And don’t plan to leave this industry."
