Gandhigiri On The Sets Of Li'l Champs

The male contestants of Zee TV's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs resorted to Gandhigiri when they decided to convey to Mahaguru Alka Yagnik that she cannot take anymore prior commitments when the shoot of the show is on. Well, what did they do??? They showered her with red roses on her return after being unable to be for the shoot for two episodes!

Says mentor Javed Ali, 'Alka Yagnik had been to London last week for a prior commitment and could not be present on the day of shoot when Anna Hazare graced the episode. The week prior to that also Alka ji could not attend the shoot and Usha Uthup was roped in be Mahaguru. The little contestants are very attached to Alka ji as she is a motherly figure on the show. They were missing her on the sets and hence decided to say 'we missed you, please do not take any more holidays' in this unique way!

It was endearing and cute for the innocent kids to express their love for Alka Ji through flowers - Gandhigiri in contemporary India! All the contestants wooed her by giving her beautiful red roses. One came with a single rose, the next with 2 roses, the 3rd with a bunch of red roses, the fourth with a bouquet, the next came with bouquet which was as big as Alka herself and the last one showered rose petals from the top!!

Alka Ji was totally enamored and became misty eyed with all the love and affection. She said, "Bacchon, I promise I will never take any more holidays till the show ends and will always be there for you whenever you need my guidance."

Watch out how Alka Yagnik is pleasantly surprised by the kids of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs this Friday, 19th August 10 PM only on Zee TV.
