She lives a few miles away from my home.

Right now she's working on an English film called "Life of Pi" in which she plays Irrfan Khan's mother.

I heard of that book my friend read it..Didn't know a movie was being made based on it

perhaps she has had it with Bollywood and wants to move on! Nothing wrong with that. She has had a great career! 😊

^ You really think she had a great career? She made a lot of wrong choices! I thought after Namesake, she would do great, but she picked stupid films. She is not doing justice to her talent. AT ALL.

Films like Maachis, Virasat, Hu Tu Tu, Astitva, Chandni Bar, Maqbool, Cheeni Kum, etc. showed that she does not care about commercial films that much. She did have commercial success in Saajan Chale Sasural, Border, Chachi 420, Hum Saath-Saath Hain: We Stand United, Biwi No.1, etc. However, her filmography is interesting! She is 40 years old now, what else does she need to prove now?! She just got the Padma Shri.

She has many great roles and is talented, but she is not popular...that's why she is disappeared. This is why doing masla films is more important than doing films like Tabu does.
