[Note: The much in my title is not the English word 'much' - although even that works 😆 but this is the Hindi version... like the one in sach much 😆 This is my new version of sach much... 😳 What...?! Lame ni hai ye, me lubs these two, kasam se, GK much! ]
Anyway, I'm early today cause I need to keep my word to fellow phankaaa Reemz! So here's the GK much report for the day.

Kesar was/is/will eternally be a sweetheart. Friday finished off on his proposal to share the thaali, and Monday continued with that. He can never take her discomfort at his expense, and so right after his idea to share plate, at Gulaal's obvious raised eye, taken aback, (and yes secretly hopeful paapi bhavna - we know its right their Gullu!) he goes more 'pragmatic' and says just because they have one plate. There's no point waiting, tujhe bhi to bhuk lagi hogi... awww! Yes Gulaal ji, two can play a game! You burst Kesauda's bubble of being treated pati-high, and think he's going all romaa-n-tic offering to share plate?! Arre nahin woh to plate ek haina, tabhi! 😆 Anyway - so the feast begins, Gulaal ji makes sure to eat bite #1 (don't want Kesar ji getting ideas again, meh!) but when she looks up - awww! The guy has this sweetest smile on the planet tugging his lips. Misty eyed and smiling that ever endearing smile... how does she not love this guy?!?!?! 😲 - and Gulaal asks him to eat too! Arre bhook kya! He sits like he's gonna sit watching you eat and bhook can go bhaad mein! 😆
anyway, he does eat - two bites to the count - and almost makes a compliment about it - but Gullu and her untimely tears She remembers eating with the family - with PB 😡, with JK 😕, with Sudha Bhabhi 🥱 and Talli *no expression* - seriously woman! As for Kesar - ek aur raat bhukha! Or we're just to assume they've eaten their fill.
Scene moves - I love love love the setting of this scene, with the two of them leaning back on adjacent sides of the pillar! I might be wrong, but to me it was like there had been a pillar of strength between them earlier - Vasant, or the family, but then they turn around touching knees, when she begins to tell her truth - when she wants to give him the haq... - and the way the scene ends in that hug... is almost a symbolic of their transition. The long way they have come in leaning against other support systems, while being right around the corner for each other, to finally resting against each other - Gulaal crying softly, but in a strange sort of ease of letting the burden off her chest, and Kesar, supportive, protective and determined at once. Neither of them is really 'broken' at this point, and that in turn is another transition in them - from their last hug to this one. I think scene was beautifully, beautifully shot - and of course full points to Mansi and Neil - as always.
As for the much awaited 'disclosure' of secret talk itself - I have a mixed reaction. The talk begins at Vasant, and the wedding night, and its promise - the promise she had no idea would become singularly her responsibility, soon after it was made! She goes on to admit how learning of Dushyant's sin put her in the greatest dilemma - between justice for Vasant, and keeping her promise for Vasant's dream, and she chose the dream. Classic Gulaal - between a destructive and a constructive choice, she made the latter... because she has been an intensive, progressive home maker. Again I really like the fact that she admits to Kesar - and him alone - that the promise keeping, and this decision for it, went on to become her eternal albatross, something that killed her every day for 10 years. She's a classic paradigm of selflessness, but she's still human - she will take a decision to bear all brunt by herself, but she will not say she has taken it without a scar! No one can, and the fact that she can confess this pain to Kesar - apart from the reason that he's the only on e to listen to her at this point - is also indicative of how she's been there for everyone, but no one, even when they love and care for her, can actually shift the burden of her life from her to themself - no one, but Kesar. This confession has certainly shifted the weight of the burden - and it is implicit in her soft crying resting against him - oh how endearing and poignant was that scene?! What I did miss in this talk was clarification of Dushyant's motive. If I didn't know better, I would wonder if Gulaal herself understands the motive so distinctly... Kesar's closure on Dushyant angle - Dushyant bha ne apni saza khud chuni hai - is somewhat... well, incomplete to me? I would have really wanted him to know the motive explicitly worded out. To me, Kesar can still live with the idea that Vasant was vulnerable and Dushyant found his chance to get this major hurdle out of the way in his means to progress, as well as marry Gulaal. He's not unaware of the GD angle... but I can't say if he understands how entirely responsible it was...
Anyway - Kesar's decision to seek out the truth is definitely promising of no lose threads to be left untended. I suppose Duggu is in for a comeback after all, and not a forgotten turning point!... 👍🏼 And was it me, or did Gulaal actually look shocked for a bit when Kesar mentioned his determination to find out the entire truth? Like it was a partial revelation to her even - that she was so taken by Dushyant's truth a decade ago, that she closed her hunt and the chapter there and then without (wondering?!) and seeking the further controversy? The chapter was obviously dark for her - and in a way, the moment she made her constructive choice between options, Gulaal really just dedicated herself to the positive side. On the other hand - the precap seems to indicate her shock is more from fear of danger to Kesar? Well! We'll see that tomorrow I suppose.
For now - what a beautiful scene that was, and the way it progressed into Kesar telling her mere dil mein tere liye izzat hi nayi pyaar bhi aur bad gaya hai... Oh this guy breaks my heart! The way he gave her a heads up to not take him wrong, but he just had to confess this! He's so torn between the limitlessness of his love, and the despair of how he pains her because of his emotion, pains her, offends her... The way the FBs of the pondside confrontation started this scene... when Gulaal said tere bhi to sawaal the... and we had a FB of Kesar accusing Gulaal of dhoka... and the way it pains him that he could have treated her, doubted her like that for a while! Honestly, he repents something that is not even his fault. While his attitude and dealing of the matter was always extreme and wrong - really, his dilemma was not unfounded and it was only fateful he of all the people had to learn the truth accidentally as such an impressionable child! It marred his growing up years with an anguish that he did not deserve any more than what he dished out at Gulaal - and so rightly she tells him, she doesn't grudge him his behavior!
BTW - the repeated looks from Gulaal to all hints of Kesar's love, their DV, the two months from now impending, or setting up fo grihasti - almost looked like signs of why she might be the one telling him to move back to his haveli! Like she was going to come up with some warped logic and tell him that she didn't want to give any more ideas or hopes to anyone... her looks were just ... sort of blank and hit - it was hard to say where her heart was! But then came the precap - and it certainly looks like she doesn't want to get rid of him anytime soon... is it going to be Kesar? I'm most intrigued by what will make him move back! On that note - neither of themj heard about Giga yet? Not that I mind lack of family drama, thank you - but just curious!
And boy - I'm also equally intrigued by the idea of bringing in a totally disheveled and muddy version of Kesar 😆 Not sure if the idea was just pulling off a cute boy Kesar version or there was some hint for some track progress in the future to be linked to his coming back like that... Of course Gulaal rushing to him in concern is ever the treat 😳 PooBaa might as well not have been there and who knows, we could have gotten another exclusive GK scene, sigh, at missed chance, dame! Btw, did anyone else think it was so cute that Gulaal was fixing his shirt when Poobaa came over?! Oh she's so wifeyyy! *blush blush* PooBaa was nice - special shout out to getting halwa for apna munda - Thank god kisi ko to bande ki bhuk ki chinta hai 😆 and the way he jumps at asking her if PooBaa got anything for him and then eyes shining at the food and tutting off and shutting up Gulaal's bidding! Gulaal ji, baccha bada ho gaya hai, aur haath se ekdam hi nikal gaya hai 😆 It was cute and classic Kesar! He's such a sweetheart and knows just how to make the other person feel good about their effort and concern... and the way his eyes went right to Gullu at PooBaa's mention of his 'hubby duties' - oh he knows her so well! It doesn't look like Gullu is spooked, but she certainly doesn't look easy and comfy about this repeated indication...
Overall - a satisfying Monday - not a GK confrontation as charged as I expected, but certainly touching, and moving enough (no, I'm not implying pun here 😆 ) and Kesar's new resolve, Gulaal's ease to move into his hug, more than ever the precap - I'm very very up for GK in coming episodes!
So there - exclusive GK update - not as quickly done as I was hoping, but I hope this is something to entertain you Reemz, till you can get to a TV screen - you're going to love the episode, I guarantee! 😆
