I quite liked that the revelation scene went more on the 'touching moment' side...I'm not surprised that Gulaal kept Dushyant's motive out of the way. I think she was more on the mind frame of explaining why she chose to cover him rather than going on why exactly he did what he did (maybe because she has made peace with it, because it's somewhat irrelevant to her now?😕)...Kesar too by not pushing what Dushyant's reasons were, was quite in character in my opinion. Yes he's aware of a GD angle but I think he's far from imagining it was the main motive behind Vasant's murder. He's still very much under the impression that Dushy actually is that bad character who wanted to size the family's property, wealth all along so...
So I totally see what you're saying about Gulaal emphasizing on her confession rather than a justification or explanation of Dushyant's deed - what I would have still changed about her narrative is move her focus a little away from Vasant the person, towards Vasant's dream aka Kesar and explain more on why the DV happened! We got a confession more or less singularly involving Gulaal's reasoning of saving Dushyant - the DV got a little sidelined in the process, with just a simple line isiliye maine deeyarvattu bhi kiya taki main ghar se na nikali jaaun... So she does give him the fact - but she doesn't elaborate it enough... but for now, the scene did serve its purpose, and more. We have firm evidence that the murder mystery is being rekindled, and who knows those Gulaal diaries do come to surface when Kesar packs his bag to go back to haveli? Maybe that's why the CV's saved us a complete version of Gulaal's confession? I do think its credible that 10 years from the time those things happened, even if she continues to be as pained, her loss has found some kind of resolve and she cannot sound half as frantic as she did in her diary confessions back then! If Kesar finds those - it will be an overwhelming read of alol her pain that he only imagines at the moment - a vivid description - and of course it is likely to pave way for Gulaal's comeback to the haveli too!
The hug goes to show how much progress Gulaal, in particular, has gone through. She's now fully taking support from Kesar. Not afraid to share all her feelings with him but also to seek physical comfort too...those days of her accusing him of paapi intentions are long gone...phewww...
I took Gulaal's expression during Kesar's confession of further inspecting Vasant's murder circumstances as a mix of shock and fear for Kesar's life (who knows what danger he might throw himself into while doing so right?) The precap seems to go that way too. However, I'm intrigued as to what will trigger her reaction in that moment since she didn't utter a word then 😕 Maybe after PoonamBa's departure, Kesar will reveal what exactly happened to get him all dirty (something to do with his investigation I'm sure) and that will get Gulaal in fretting mode...anyway precap looks good so can't wait to know what will happen tomorrow...
That's an interesting thought Aeryn, I didn't think about a more candid talk between GK once PooBaa is gone over the murky shirt ... and yet, when he brushed off the two ladies, it didn't seem like he even took a second to 'lie' so maybe it was a harmless cycle slip? While I'm all for a candid talk ... I'd also like to dream about Reemz and my dream coming true 😆
