Does BOLLYWOOD still excite us or NOT?!

😭 Somehow, I don't feel passionate about Bollywood like I did a year ago. Do any of you feel the same way? There may have been a lot of hits lately, but Bollywood movies have lost their appeal and where is the damn content?! 😕 It is just about looks and the movies these days lack soul and focus! I hate to say it, but somehow Bollywood does not excite me these days like it used to. Does it still excite you?!

not me these days...im too preoccupied exploring regional cinema...and it just makes me realise how far behind bollywood is...

well...im always hopefull. like im really excited for mausam, don 2, hopefully dedh ishqiya if madhuris in it, possible sik and nl sequels so im still excited by bollywood lol..it all depends on the movies coming up... but i do miss moviesfrom the 90s when i was a kidd...

It still excites me occasionally, when good movies come out. The first half of the year saw some good movies though there were few. Ek Tha Tiger excites me, Don 2 excites me, the film with Yash Chopra excites me, Mausam does also though the leads don't. Of course the films that excite me the most are Aamir's films but they are so far a part that I get bored with Bollywoos rather quickly.

I miss the 90s era. Maybe because I love the 90s so much that I keep missing that spunk and innocence today. Nevertheless, a fee gems come out every year even if the rest of the year is full of crap.

I've never really been passionate about bollywood yet I spend all my free internet time on this Bollywood section forum alone. Hell... I don't even visit or post in other sections of IF.

i never had any passion for bollywood but i would just watch movies to pass time..😆😆

Am addicted to bollywood. I live in America, but I watch more bollywood films than hollywood. Lately though, I turned to hollywood because indian cinema has been disappointing. But than came OUATIM and BBB. And that's when I got excited again. And also when the promo of Mausam and Ra.One came out. Mind blowing stuff. Great action from my favorite srk, and sweet romantic film in case of Mausam. So no I haven't lost hope yet. I will come back to this topic, after I watch Ra.One and Mausam...if I get disappointed...than I give up on bollywood for good..maybe haha 😛
