Gulaal runs and holds Mota Bha's feet weeping bitterly, Mota Bha's face is turned away and he is struggling but doesn't bless her. Kesar comes and forcibly picks her up and takes her away saying that nobody there is with them. Both enter Talli's house, Gulaal is quiet and gloomy. Kesar tells her mischievously to go and clean everything up, he cannot help her since he is a guy. She picks up the broom when he holds her hand and takes the broom away. He seats her and tells her that he will clean everything, he was just teasing her to make her smile. Gulaal refuses but he insists saying that he can do this only in front of her, others would make fun of him. Till the house gets cleaned she will not budge, and he gives her his promise. He tells her that in the hostel he had to clean his own room, its useless arguing with him since she will never win. He asks her to sit down quietly, starts cleaning while Gulaal looks on.
Gulaal is asleep, Kesar wakes her up and shows her the clean room saying that tomorrow when he goes to look for a job at least he will find a job as a house-cleaning guy. Gulaal is shocked asking if he will look for a job. He says that he has no relationship with that house, and today onwards without taking money from anyone he will take care of both of them. Gulaal feels guilty, he tells her not to think like that, this is a test and they have to win together. He then tells her he is hungry and is going out to buy something when she asks him not to go so late at night, and she is scared of being alone. He agrees to stay back saying that he is not hungry and was kidding. Both go to sleep on the chairs, but before that there is an awkwardness as if both are so aware of each other's presence in the same room.
The next morning Kesar finds Gulaal in the kitchen, she is settling everything. He tells her he is hungry, and asks her to boil water while he gets tea leaves. Its funny how Gulaal is becoming so dependent on Kesar, as if she doesn't know what to do anymore. She asks him how can she make tea, there are no tea leaves or milk. Its funny because Gulaal is usually like here is the solution, but now she poses questions and Kesar finds a solution. This entire situation has completely shattered her confidence. Kesar goes around finding a job but people question him since he is Mota Bha's son, and they don't want to give him a job to not anger Mota Bha.
Someone from the factory tells Mota Bha that despite their factory Kesar is looking for a job. Mota Bha is surprised but doesn't seem too shocked, as if this is in line with Kesar's nature and he somewhat expected it. He tells the guy to ask the manager to take care of the factory. Raman comes for breakfast. Sudha expresses worry about Talli since Kunal's parents have not contacted them to set a wedding date. She asks Raman to accompany her to speak with them, he refuses, she insists, Jamna supports Raman, Mota Bha tells her he will go with her.
Talli takes Kesar to Kunal's place. Kunal tells Kesar that his friend in the city wants someone who can get client orders for clothing. Both men go to visit the friend. Talli thanks Kunal.
Mota Bha and Sudha go to visit Kunal's mother. They talk about the wedding, she says rudely that they don't want to have a relationship with a family where one brother murdered another, they even refused to give them dowry, Mota Bha tries to explain to her, she tells him that Talli is playing with Kunal since he is innocent, they cannot have a relationship without dowry, Sudha tells her they are willing to give dowry, the mother says they want neither their daughter nor dowry.
Precap: Ghigha asks Raman angrily if the dowry was Raman's idea, not Dushyant's. Raman says yes. Ghigha asks what happened to the remaining money, he tells him that he lost it in gambling, and Dushyant paid it off. Jamna is shocked.
