Manav-Archana mobbed by fans in South Africa

Sushant Singh Rajput and his reel and real life lady love Ankita Lokhande, popular as the ideal couple on Indian television 'Manav & Archana' of Pavitra Rishta were mobbed recently when they were on a tour of concerts across different cities in South Africa. The tickets for their shows in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban were sold out almost a week in advance.

Sending the audience into a tizzy, Sushant Rajput scorched the stage with a hot entry on a Harley Davidson bike... Ankita blew kisses to her fans as she entered in a Tuk Tuk, a local rickshaw in South Africa.

What wasn't easy for the two actors was moving around at the venues of their concerts just before and after their performances as their fans were going berserk and jumping over each other for a closer look and hopefully a hug from their favorite television heartthrobs. Despite being shielded by a pack of burly bodyguards, Sushant and Ankita were mobbed at each venue. Sushant's chest was apparently clawed by his excited female fans!

Speaking of the experience, Sushant said, "Actors often express discomfort at being mobbed... but to tell you the truth, it was absolutely overwhelming to see the love and warmth the crowd in South Africa showered on us. They just couldn't get enough of Ankita and me on stage and heading towards the exit of the venue was next to impossible. We are both deeply humbled by the adulation!"
