I totally agree with Chatbuster that he literally stole our hearts when we thought that nobody could replace Sonu. But Shaan has very succesfully managed to host the show in his style, taking it to a different heights.

If thers's one thing that have contributed to the changed format of SRGMP, it is the superb anchoring by Shaan.

But lets hope that Shaan does not leave SRGMP for ever and even if he does it is someone like him who can carry the show alone, no matter what.

And I am very sure he will be vary successful in sad songs. Songs like "gumsum ho kyon", "paigam laya saawan" and other slow numbers sung by him definitely show that he can.

God how we will miss him in SRGMP though.....😭😭😭

Shaan is very good and so is Sonu, both have different singing styles, it will be unfair to compare them. If anything Sonu is a more accomplished singer than Shaan.

he is wonderful,90 percent song of the films r sung by him.

Not right, actually most of the songs are now sung by Sonu Nigam

👏 👏 he is very down to earth too,different frm other singers. 😊
