On 21st Sept 2009 the creatives showed Armaan-Riddhima getting injured in the shoot out & that was the first major shock 4 the AR fans. On 22nd the creatives made the first blunder. They left the AR story hanging midway & brought in new interns. JP & Jiggy were clones of Atul & out of the two couples, only Yuvi-Naina were worth watching though they were not as magical as AR. For the next three mths, the creatives tried 2 make the new interns work but they failed badly. The shows popularity dipped & the AR fans kept the pressure on the channel & the producers 2 bring back Armaan & Riddhima 2 the show. So the producers decided 2 give in 2 the demands of the fans. And then they made the second blunder & they decided 2 bring back only Riddhima 2 the show. On 1st Jan 2010, Riddhima came back & the AR fans got the second shock when it became obvious that the creatives had planned a new love story 4 Riddhima, & that 2 with a younger guy, Sid! And as if the multiple fan groups of DMG werent enough already, another fan group came up, the SR fans & then started the AR v/s SR fans fights (that are continuing till 2day)! As the producers had some problems with Karan Singh Grover, they decided on not bringing Armaan back 2 the show. So 4 the next 2 and a half mths the creatives tried their level best that the AR fans should forget Armaan & they tried 2 make us hate Armaan by showing him leaving Riddhima alone when she was unconscious (KSG's dummy shot 4 those scenes, not KSG himself) & Sid saving her life with the controversial body heat angle. And AR fans like me did hate Armaan 4 leaving Riddhima but we never gave up on our demand of Armaan i.e. Karan Singh Grover's return 2 the show. Petitions were sent to the channel & the producers 2 bring back KSG 2 the show & finally they gave in 2 the AR fans demand. On 11th March, much 2 the dismay of the SR fans, Armaan came back 2 the show. That episode showed only Armaans eyes & what can I say except that a dead show came back 2 life! What followed 4 the next three mths were the creatives playing with the feelings of the AR & SR fans & the story going in such a way that both fan groups kept outguessing each other as 2 which couple will unite in the end. During this time, the AR fans hated Riddhima 4 the pain she gave Armaan bcoz of Sid. But during this phase, even though SR were a couple & AR werent together, some of the most beautiful, intense, romantic & sometimes passionate AR scenes were shown. Then in June the creatives decided that since Riddhima already had another man in her life, a new girl should be brought in 4 Armaan. Since the Kash pair was so popular & there was a demand 4 Shilpa Anand 2 come back in the show, she was brought in as a different character named Shilpa sometime on June 8th or 9th.. Probably for the first time on a show, an actor was brought back 4 another character while the character origionally played by her was still there in the show & was being played by another actor. Then again 4 the next three mths the story progressed with the SR & the Armaan-Shilpa track & when it finally looked like that AR will never unite came the most controversial scene of DMG, the AR intimate scene of 16th Sept. The way u look at the scene & AR will depend on whether u r an SR fan, Arsh fan or an AR fan. U might either hate AR, love AR or disagree with what AR did but still love them. And what followed after that were happy times 4 the AR fans as AR were finally on the road 2 being 2gether 4ever. And after being upset 4 almost a year after the shootout scene of 21st Sept 2009, the happiest day 4 the AR fans was on 13th Oct 2010 as that day Sid left the show. And after that till the last episode, DMG once again got back some of the masti & flavour of season 1. And the AR reunion scene was a perfect ending 2 the magical AR love story. Whatever opinion I have given is from the point of view of a hard core AR fan. SR fans will have a different opinion about the show. And if u r also a hardcore AR fan, I would advise u to skip the episodes from 21st Sept 2009 till 11th Mar 2010 so that u dont get upset about the SR track. Rest is upto u 2 decide. As 4 the other characters of season 1, Rahul & Muskaan never came back 2 the show after the shoot out sequence. Atul was there only till the SR marriage. Anjie came during the SR marriage in Feb & there were some cute Atul-Anjie scenes but their love story remained incomplete. Then Anjie came 4 a little while in Sept during the second SR marriage & then she was there in the last 2 weeks of the show. Abhi & Nikki were there till the second week of Jan & their's was the only love story (besides AR) that had a happy ending with them getting engaged. Hope ur queries r answered.
