Part 11

It has been few day(readers may be some 20 days) after the accident. Dadi was so happy for maan and geet. She was quite sure they will move on. Maan recovered a bit. He can walk on his own except a few bruises on his hand.

The morning sun hit her. She opened her eyes. she was so happy that maan was feeling better now. She didn't realize how the days are flying so fast. She started thinking what happened two days before.

maan was seated in the sofa. Geet bought a juice in the tray for him.

"maan maan" geet shouted but there was no reply from his side. "maaan"she went said aloud in his year.

Maan stood up with a jerk "geet you didn't see I was reading something important in the newspaper"

"lazy maan, now go and have a shower. You are fine now. You can't expect others to indulge in your seva always."

"I know honey, you are there to take care of me na" he said in a very low voice."can you pass the remote to me"

"maan you really became so lazy. Hai I think you are fine enough to all these work"she said putting a fake anger on her face.

"geet you are cutie pie. Please pass the remote na. how can you be rude to a sick person." he tried to be sweet with her. He told very innocently. Geet couldn' suppress her smile.

"maan nataunki' thum 'you have become a drama king. I know you are not sick anymore. You can walk and do your things n your own. No more special treatment for you. You have to go to office today. "she said in a very strict tone.

"me office but why???? "

"because before the accident, you were going for office. You also promised dadi that you will take care of the office and will not stress her with these hings. Maan,,,dadi should not be stressed with all these things. Dadi was looking after the office for the past 20 days. Now you should take care of the office as you are fine""

"geet you know I always wished to do something on my own. I couldn't believe that I promised dadi that I would take care of office" he was so confuse. Geet came and sat beside him. He stroked his back to comfort him.

"maan you did . you promised her now be a good boy"she kissed his forehead and was about to leave.

"geet is it necessary that I should go???"

"ofcourse" she smiled at him. She thought something and took the juice glass and came near him. She sipped the juice a little and poured a little on him too"now maan,,,,,,,don't be a lazy bum.. go and take shower' I will prepare another juice for you before you leave to office."he tried to catch her. He ran after her.

She brought out of her thoughts when she heard a knock on the door. ":geet beta come down soon"

"yes dadi I will be down in two minutes."she rushed into the bathroom to have a quick shower. She came out wearing a white salwar. She stood before the mirror. She opened the door. Then again she came inside to put on her earrings.

"geet are you ready??" maan came inside her room with his hands at the back. Then he saw her. She was looking so pure in that white salwar. He was so mesmerized. A strange feeling engulfed him. He has never felt such thing before.

"ya maan I am ready" geet uttered while she wore her earrings. "maaan" this brought him out of his senses. Then he realized for he came to her room."okay lets start then??" he said closing the distance between them. She walked backwards moving her head in a no. "maan don't come near me" but he was not in a mood to listen. She started to run here and there in the room. Maan grabbed her wrist. He pinned her to the wall. "you can't escape from me" .

He held her waist. He applied the colours on her face with the other hand "happy holi geet. This year I won'"

"this is the first year you won. Its ok every year I will be the first to apply the colours on your face. But this year you won..its ok..lets see the next year maan" she to took the colours from him and applied all over his face. "hachhh "he sniffed as the colour powder entered his nostrils what have you done I won't leave you??" geet ran downstairs followed by maan.

"sameera happy holi " she applied the red colour n her cheeks.

"geet I am so happy for you.." she too reciprocated her action by appling the colours
