Written Update: 2nd Aug: Mahen,unbreak my heart!!

Kailash blows his top at the wole Purohit family. He says that blood relations are one thing & maane-huye rishtey are another. He is so angry that he doesnt even heed to what Dadaji & Dadi are saying. He rushes to Laxmi's room to pack her stuff. Laxmi follows while the others are just dazed by his onslaught.

In Laxmi's room, Laxmi tries to stop him from packing, but the hurt dad doesnt spare her as well. He is furious that now that she is in such a big house that she didnt even think of taking his permission or informing him about this. Meanwhile Mahen comes & stands outside Laxmi's room...eavesdropping!! 😲Laxmi finally shouts, at least listen to me! Kailash is shocked. Me too...😲she says that the decision was not taken by the family, but by her. Its not that Kaveri amma didnt look for grooms, but some wanted baby sitters whilst the others caretakers. She questions whether he doesnt want her to go in a family which loves her? Kailash is quietened. She then admits that Mahen is not perfect but no one in this world is.She asks him whats the guarantee that the person he chooses will keep her happy? He has no answer. Kailash makes her sit on the bed & asks her to honestly tell him whether she is happy in this house. Laxmi says that her happiness cannot be anywhere else. Kailash repents his previous outburst & wants to go down to apologise. Abey...itni jaldi kaise maan gaya?? 😲No arguments nothing...at least Tej thought about the kids factor!!!!They share a hug while Mahen does a thumbs up.

Downstairs, Raandal & Dadi are discussing marriage arrangements (ok..now exactly who is Raandal in this house??!! The way she is sitting with Dadi even Minu isnt so comfy!!!) whilst Kailash is apologising to Kaveri. Dadi announces that since the groom & bride are in the same house, she wants to divide it. Everyone is shocked. She clarifies, she wants to divide the family members into groom's side & bride's side.😆 Everyone breathes a sigh of relief. She says she is on Mahen's side, Vijay sides with Mahen too. Kaaveri amma & Dadaji put their hands up for bride's side. Dadi assigns Angad to bride's side😕 along with Uttaang(hmm she called him jahila or something...😛...wonder if she meant jaahil...as in rowdy) She then asks Tej to be on both the sides & take care of common arrangements. He is 😲😆 (lazy bones ko kaam diya??!!! 😲 ab muft ki rotiyon ka mazaa kaha rahega??!!😉) btw...Shobna isnt there.. Dadi asks Angad to take whole responsibility of Sangeet...etc. Angad says leave everything to me since i am from the bride's side...😡 he has accepted Laxmi's decision it seems...!!! bewakoof...He asks Raandal to go & call Mahen(hmm...did any1 notice the way Raandal looked up??? There cud have been such a gr8 love story there...sigh...potentials left unexploited is the basis of SL!!😔) Kailash seeks Kaaveri's permission to go & meet Mahen meanwhile Shobna appears from somewhere & Tej informs her of the team distrubution which is going on.Tej is unhappy about the marriage & POA. Shobna says they still have 1 avenue...Tej asks what. Shobna says Mahen. (karo karo...yeh saari planning karo...😛 apne hi pairo par kulhaadi maaro idiots...🤪v know what u dont...for once!!! 😈kya hoga inn dono ka when Angad marries Laxmi?wuhooo cant wait!!)

Mahen is going through a how to be a good husband type books, when Kailash comes. Mahen asks him to sit & tells him that he will take good care of Laxmi. He then questions him whether he still thinks that he is not a good choice. Tej comes & eavesdrops. (sab kitna eavesdropping karte hai😲!!)Kailash explains that he had a few misgivings earlier but now knows that there could be no one better for Laxmi. Mahen touches Kailash's feet & Kailash blesses him wholeheartedly. After Kailash departs, Tej enters & sarcastically congrats him (the sarcasm is wasted on Mahen) & they air hug!!😲🤣(this is too funny!!!)He says he appreciates Mahen's dedication in becoming a good hubby, but then questions how he is planning to go about it? Mahen answers simply by listening to Laxmi, by taking her out, taking care of her & never fighting with her. Tej says but how? To take a wife out & get her gifts, you will need money, but how will u get money as u dont work!!😡 u work u 🤬??? He continues with his pravachan...🤢 🥱that do u know the meaning of marriage? It doesnt mean only taking your wife outside. Every wife wants a child too. He questions whether Mahen will be able to fulfil that wish? He then moves onto a further scenario that even if he manages to have a child, when he/she goes to school,& people ask what does your dad do, what will your kid say? That my father is an autistic? Tej says that you make good things out of broken stuff but what to do, the world doesnt appreciate?!!🤢🤢 He leaves...finally!But Mahen is shattered. 😭 its really sad watching him...Tej wait...one day u will get your share of grief...when your child says in school...My father is a leper...he lives off my mom's parents...!!🤢Sabne Tej ko itna miss kiya ki CT ne usse itna bada footage de diya!! My appetite is lost...

Laxmi is sitting in her room with the girl who came to Purohit mansion with Kailash (sorry dont know her name & whether she is Laxmi's younger sis as i havent seen the beginning of this show) The girl asks her whether she is happy. Laxmi says she is. Angad comes in & pulls her hand, asking her to come quickly...Laxmi questions what work? Angad says i'm getting married na...so can v go for shopping?😉 Laxmi doesnt reply but just stares. Her friend/sis catches on... Angad the fool doesnt. He just continues his own pravachan...that even though he is not happy with her decision, he respects them & as a friend, will stand by her...plus he is def happy for Mahen! He says enough of explanations, now lets go! He leaves...the other chick just observes Laxmi's demeanour..

Mahen is agitated in his room & decides to talk to Laxmi. On his way, Angad stops him & asks him to accompany him for shopping. Mahen doesnt want to go but Angad insists, saying that the shopping will take v long+ they have the sangeet too(huh??same day??😲😕kya super fast Rajdhani bhagaa rahe hai CVs...its not as if Laxmi/Mahen would have run away if they took a bit longer to plan the wedding...kya nautanki hai yaar!!). Mahen says I have some important work & dont want to go, please! Angad terrorises him by saying that if u refuse, i will have to touch u (ok ...so no one touching Mahen is bcoz he doesnt like it...phew...one myth busted...heaps more to go!) Mahen relents finally.

In the evening, Kaaveri,Raandal, Laxmi come home after shopping...& are stunned to c a decorated house. Dadi asks them to quickly get ready as the Sangeet program is to commence. On enquiring, Dadi informs Kaaveri that Mahen is already getting ready. Mahen is ready in his room, but is reflecting on Tej's words in front of the mirror.😭 Angad comes there & praises Mahen, but notices Mahen's pareshaani. He questions Mahen about it. Before Mahen can elaborate, Tej interrupts & asks him whether he is ready to dance in his sangeet. Mahen shuts up.Angad asks Tej to join in praising Mahen & Tej is as sarcastic as ever. Mahen is getting depressed by the minute.

Downstairs, dadaji awaits the entry of their hero & heroine. As Mahen enters, Vijay blows kisses to him & everyone praises him.(real shocker for me...Dadi ka gajra!!!Aye meri zohra jabee...😉) Angad says that the dulha is more good looking than the dulhan. Dadi asks where is Laxmi, just then Vijay points up. Kaveri & Raandal have dfecked up Laxmi who is looking stunning!! Mahen is mesmerised. Angad compliments her by saying u both r giving each other competition. Dadi asks them to divide into groom/bride sides...so that they can proceed with the sangeet. Angad claps his hand & asks the bride's side to follow him. Laxmi looks on & her friend/sis puts an understanding hand on her shoulders.

Precap: Angad is singing "Aankho mei teri" from Om Shanti Om to Laxmi & Mahen is v badly hurt...got tears in his eyes...

the unknown girl is Kajri from dharigam she is laxmi's best friend (she was the one who helped suraj to tackle laxmi to arrange the wedding previously)

and tomorrow wll be shobana's day😲 for angad wedding.
