Epi starts with Kaveri telling this show's favourite sound board, Harsukh, that today she feels v strongly that Mahen will be the best partner for Laxmi(Kaveri Amma…look harder…even alternate option is in your home only!!😛) She says that even though Mahen is not physically fit to be her husband, but he is a good choice as a friend. (God!! Friends make good husbands etc etc??!!😡) Laxmi is trying to sleep, but is unsuccessful as she is plagued with Angad thoughts. Flashbacks of them together are shown. Including the hugging, & rain dancing sequences. Next morning, Angad knocks on Laxmi's room's door…which is wide open & says Jaago Mohan pyaare!!(like…really? 😲She is so comfortable with them that she sleeps keeping her doors wide open????!!!😲😲) Her eyes flutter…but she doesn't wake up. (Must be thinking I am hallucinating!!!😆) He comes right in 😲 & says that their training is yet to be completed. She sulks & asks whats left now? He asks whats wrong with her, why is she so scared & tries to touch her forehead to check whether she has temperature. She moves away & says that she is fine & will come soon. He says ok & goes away. However, he stops at the door & turns, looks at her & then turns & goes. (His expressions were more of someone confused about someone else's actions & not his own!!no love here guys…not yet at least!😕)
Kaveri goes to Mahen's room & asks what's he doing on the laptop (netsurfing?I-F???!!) He says that he's got a list of medicines from the internet for Laxmi & asks Kaveri to buy them. The matchmaker is happy. However, she also tells him, that Laxmi is now ok & can walk around. He is happy. She comments on how caring he is, but he says that one friend should always be there for another friend. He continues saying that he liked Kaveri's decision to say no to the groom the previous day. Also says that they will look for a guy who loves her a lot & she is all smiles & stares!🤢 She just agrees & goes.
In the aangan, Laxmi is shocked that Angad wants her to learn how to drive the car. She keeps refusing, he keeps insisting…while Shobna…keeps rolling her eyes!! 😆 Laxmi complains to Kaveri while Angad says it's a car, not rocket. After she learns, they will return home!! Kaveri agrees & says then you can take me to mandir. Mahen chips in that girls should be independent…learning how to drive..good! Shobna of course takes Laxmi's side. But Angad is a ziddi bachha, he says he wants to teach & that's it. Dadi comes & as usual takes Angad's side & sends them off.😆
Outside, Angad says he knows that she is scared, but don't fear when Angad is near…haaye how will she say…tum ho tabhi fear hai!!! 😳 They go to a near empty road & he stops his car, leans forward & says…I love u!! 😲nahi yaar…😛he just says that this road is ok to learn…they swap seats. He leans over her to get the seat belt & she is nervous like hell….her mind is just dazed with Angad's physical proximity…while he prattles off the instructions & basics of car driving.
Kaveri is with a pandit who predicts that Laxmi is destined to get married a second time to a person who will take good care of her & the union will be a happy one. Kaveri keeps thinking about Mahen. The pandit says this marriage will happen v soon. She is happy. She then gives Mahen's kundali & asks him to see if he has marriage written in his destiny. He calculates & says yes. She says but there is a problem. Cut to the car with Laxmi-Angad.(Yes Kaveri, the problem is that Laxmi is in love with Angad & not Mahen...ask her pls, b4 deciding on this!!) Angad is helping but for a sec his moves his hand & she is about to hit a corn vendor…they swerve the car & lightly hit a tree. Angad holds his forehead & Laxmi panics…she says that she had told him that she didn't want to learn driving but he insisted…Angad calms her down & asks her whether she is ok as well. He says everything is ok & these things happen at times. They swap seats. He tries to lighten the atmosphere by joking that she got a good experience the first day.
Kaveri returns home happy, when Dadi asks where was she? Just then Shobna comes & says she wants to say something. Dadi mocks her, but Shobna says that she wants Angad married off. Dadi, Kaveri exchanage glances. Dadi says that who stopped you? Shobna says that she wants it to happen soon & then taunts that in this house, everyone is only interested in getting Laxmi married. The pair being talked about, walk in. Shobna panics on seeing the bruise on Angad's forehead. Her true feelings for Laxmi pour out & she wants to get rid of her asap. Angad defends Laxmi, but Shobna stops him. Dadi takes him to her room to apply ayurvedic ointment. Laxmi is sad while Mahen says that Shobna maasi was wrong, he goes on to say that he doesn't like anyone saying bad things about Laxmi. Kaveri hears all this & is happy with her decision.🤢 (Ok...i know what i feel now...i dont want a Mahen-Laxmi union!! )
Kaveri goes to Dadaji & Dadi's room. They were discussing Laxmi's marriage only. Kaveri asks for their opinion. They ask who is the boy? She says its Mahen. Dadaji is angry that knowing Mahen's condition, how can she be so selfish?
Precap: Kaveri is in Mahen's room & saying you like Laxmi na? He agrees. She says that I want her to stay in this house forever. He says that its not possible. She asks him to marry her…
