waise toh i'm still waiting for my old promo dreams to come true: the entire bekaboo sequence, navya being allowed to wear jeans, anants i'm not that cool one(that one has come true partially at least...anant has proved time and time that he's not too bright...so not cool), anant n ranbir hugging(all credit to tanu 😡 😆), navya n anant watzing(no complaints there) etcetcetc...

A calls N - N is busy lying on dadi's lap/with family/whatever and can't take the call (of course all the while phone is flashing Anant in bold caps). A cuts call, N calls back. A is getting a talking to from udi/papa/giving pravachan/having jail ka khana (dinner at home)/whatever. He cuts the call, N calls at least 15 times before giving up. Each time it rings, A refuses to switch off phone or put it on silent and looks guilty/scared. Of course phone flashes Navya's name. Finally, once he gets the chance, A leaves his room door open and calls N:

A: Hello

N: Hello

A: Woh...tum...main...

N: eyebrows start moving heaven-ward, eyes ready for pendulum motion...silence

A: woh... mujhe tumse kuch kehna tha...

N: looks interested (vaguely)

---ad break---smiling Navya, bekaboo---back again:

A: Hello? Navya?

N: haan, woh... main... tumhe kuch kehna hai kya?

A: haan...i love you...kuch bhi ho jaye main yeh sagai nahi karunga...

N: Anant, mujhe jaana hai, Rits aur Appy mera wait kar rahe hain

A: I love you Navya, kya tum...

N: Anant, koi aajayega...

A: maine faisla kar liya hai, aaj hi ghar walon se baat karke main yeh sagai thod raha hoon

N: looks mildly interested: nahi tum...

---cut--- repeat scene 520 times over a full month----

Kitna pakao tha na? Wonder how we put up with this for that long...
