Guys I have been observing this show from Day one and it has been a long journey . I gave many views regarding this show which even changed over the time as the story changed . But one view remains constant ...and that is ...this sasural FLEECES Manav monetarily , knowingly or unknowingly .
Even now ...Sulochana has foolishly decided to remain in hiding and find Manohar on her own . Its her CONSCIOUS DECISION . She had the sense to phone Archana but she also had the firm deliberation NOT to reveal her whereabouts .
What is gonna happen ? She is going to be eventually found out and melodramas will take place . The word Sulochana and melodrama is synonymous . and we all know that after some days of nataks she will go back to her bahu by making excuse of Punni and Ruchi and her love as a Grandmom .
The fact that Sulochana will go back to Manju is CONFIRMED . Or else there won't be story .
But in this process , Is not Manav stripped financially always ? He is now offering a reward of 50000 rupees for Sulochana . Sulo's immaturity of roaming around the Dombivli Roads like an aged Anarkali , hugging Manohar's photo , not informing whereabouts to other 3 living children , running away before Manav Archana arrive at the flat , phoning and quickly keeping the phone without telling address , throwing Archana in an absolute frenzy ...all this has cost Manav tremendous efforts , time , and most of all ...MONEY .
Last time he had taken loans after loans of Sasural on his head .He bears expenses of sasural members whenever Archana brings them to him and plonks their responsibilities on him ...like Vaishali in their Kholi , or now Sulo that she has no home . He has given gold sets and costly gifts to her ...and now she is costing him 50000rupees for her missing Stunt .
And after paying this money what ??? Going back to Manju will be Archana and Sulochanas ultimate decision .
This sasural fleeces Manav monetarily is my opinion . it gives him NOTHING but demands MONEY all the time . So what if that money is not directly asked . It is always in trouble or pulls stunts that are rectfied with Manav's money .
If this is modern zamana and Husbands family and wife's family are EQUAL ...Then why not go ALL THE WAY ? Why should Husband and wife not BOTH earn too ?
Why is Archana not earning money ? Then she can shell out na for her maayka's incessant , never ending financial scrapes ? One day her Dad is missing ...reward money for him , One day Mom runs away ...reward money for her , One Day Vinod will need money to start business ...arranging capital for him ...ALL this can be shouldered by Archana too , as it is HER family after all .
Manav , according to Hindu norms , is actually supposed to look after his parents , and HIS wife and children . Sure he can help his sasural like a son WHEN needed but his sasural is going bit overboard . It is ALWAYS demanding huge sums from him .
This serial sends a wrong message . That once married , a man's money becomes his wife's money too and she can put full responsibility of her family on him constantly and make him pay through the nose for the endless scrapes her family gets into .
Sure legally the money is also half his wife's . But it does not work this way . The legalities come in during extreme steps like DIVORCE .
All speak of how LUCKY Manav has been to get Archana in his life . This is the core message of this serial through CVS and their dialogues . But Tell me truly , HAS she been his lucky mascot ?
As I see it , She has only made him financially weak all the time .
She has plonked one responsibility after another on HIS shoulders all the time .
She has even given his baby away to her sister and perhaps plans to do so now again . Yesterdays Episode clearly shows her encouragement of Varsha AGAIN ...much against Manav's disapproval .
Archana does many VRATS for Manav as a pativrata wife . Does a Good wife constanty reduce her husbands bank balance and give away his children ...or does she ensure that his bank balance increases and he gets the SUKH of having his own child around ?
What do Archana's VRATS really amount to ? She does NOT look after Manav's benefits or think in Manav's interest .
She only thinks in her Maayka's interest .
Love for her is rushing in his arms , bursting in a flood of tears , burying her face in his chest and burdening him with her maaika problems .
Is this what a good wife is all about ?
She looks after Sachu yes . That much I will give her credit .
But all in all , Manav depletes financially and as a father on account of her .
A man's development is in having his children around him , in having his finances so well managed by wife that they INCREASE not deplete ..
Of Late we even saw Manav rushing from office to run on Dombivili Roads with his saalis to search for saas as Archana barged in tearfully there , dragging him out to focus on her missing mom instead of letting him focus on his job while SHE went to that PCO address .
Manav is a middle class man who is trying hard to make it big and does not deserve this at all .
He needs to focus on his job without being made to feel guilty , He needs his children around HIM when he comes home from a hard days work and most of all , he needs his finances managed in HIS interest as he has led a poverty stricken life and life is giving him only this good chance .
I do not like it that even Savita squanders his money ...its his hard earned money , and it should NOT go to fill Rasikas pockets or fulfilling silly whims of Savita .
Still , Savita and Damodar have at least raised him . What on earth have Karanjkars done for him that a girl who walked in his life 4 years back is burdening him so much financially by plonking their burdens on him ALL the time ?
I suggest to CVS to make someone give Archana a reality check about this and give her the option of working and earning money equally if she wants to take Maayka responsibility all the time .
