Written Update July 21, 2011

In the room Jamna, Raman, and Dushyant discuss. Raman tells them that Kunal's parents asked for a lot but he convinced them to accept Rs. 10 lakhs. Dushyant says they cannot do this without Mota Bha's permission, Raman says they cannot live by his principles, and who else will marry Talli. Dushyant says he cannot give so much money without Mota Bha's knowledge, Jamna convinces him, he says he will think about it. After Dushyant leaves, Jamna scolds Raman for caring too much about Talli, he tells her that he wants to get rid of Talli and nobody else will want to marry her so this is the only way to get rid of her.

Kunal's parents praise Raman, his mother says it felt as if Raman himself wanted to give them money and didn't even negotiate. Kunal comes there and overhears the last part of their conversation and questions them, they say that they agreed to marry him to Talli and he is happy but asks if they put forth any demands for money but they deny it. He is very happy.

The women are talking to the chef about the menu for the wedding. Kesar comes there asking Gulaal to come aside, they talk about something, Gulaal refuses and goes back to the women, Kesar asks if she cannot do this for Talli, Kesar says he was asking for the decorator's contact. Gulaal tells the chef that they should make Gujarati food, Kesar says they should do something different and make Punjabi, both argue, Sudha tells him to make Gujarati food, Kesar says "bhabhi" and Sudha asks him to make Punjabi as well. She tells Kesar to buy ingredients, Kesar says he has no knowledge of all this stuff, Jamna says his wife knows so he should take her with him. Gulaal makes an excuse, Kesar feels upset and leaves.

Kesar is getting ready in his room but buttons his shirt in the wrong manner. Gulaal shows it to him in the mirror, one button is broken so Gulaal asks for his shirt and sews it for him. Gulaal tells him that he should understand that she has no problem accompanying him, he asks if someone said something, she says she doesn't care what people say but she does care that listening to them Kesar gets angry and loses himself, that is why she doesn't want to increase his problems. Kesar says angrily why does she care about those people, she should come with him, he will break the face of whoever says anything about Gulaal. She shows him the mirror and asks him to see his face when he is angry, his anger is his weakness. She asks him to remember when outside the temple one man said something and Kesar beat him up badly, everyone at home was worried, Yogesh lost his job, and Kesar could not sleep for days after that event. Kesar asks why people say such things, Gulaal says by his anger nothing will change, instead the reputation is soiled and relationships are ruined. She doesn't care what people say or do, but she cares about what Kesar says and does. He says he cares when people say something about her, she tells him to fill his mind with understanding if he wants to see her happy.

Kesar then takes her to the mirror and points out her smile and says he will listen to everything she says but on one condition, that she will always keep smiling. Gulaal smiles brightly and happily.
