Epi starts with Laxmi/Angad in statue mode with Kaveri all annoyed & moving away from the balcony in huff & puff!! (Angad's expressions are so not of someone being smitten!!!)He recovers from the marathon stare with ease & raises her eyebrows at her & with a smile, questions her "what?" Then he stands her up & says take care or you will fall. (huh?It was supposed to be just a sec long??😲time stood still etc etc???!!😕) Anyways, Laxmi is impressed & embarrassed.
As Angad enters his room, maa chandaal…oops, Shobna 😉is waiting for him & enquires how did he get late? He pulls a long face & says "I went to meet my boyfriend!!" 🤣Shobna is exasperated. Angad chides her for acting like a girl's mom. 😆 He tells her that the car broke down. He goes to get a towel. He also says that good that the car broke down, as he could enjoy the rains. But Shobna says she doesn't like all this. He says "his getting wet in rain?!!" ⭐️ Shobna clarifies that she doesn't like his concerns for Laxmi. Angad smells around her & says jealousy!!Spot on my boy!!👍🏼 Shobna asks him to be serious & reminds him that there are other people in the family to take care of Laxmi, so no need to worry about her future. She says that everything has a limit. Angad explains to her that he just wants to see her happy like any other member of the family would…no questions about crossing the lines(yelo!! Aur hum bekaar hi forum mei Angad-Laxmi par topics banate jaa rahe the!!) Shobna says at the cost of your happiness?! Irrepressible Angad says what a filmy line??! 😆(If any1 can shut up Shobna with humour…Angad can!!) He enquires about the original film from which she lifted the dialogue!! 🤣On serious note, assures her that he is happy to help Laxmi & he would never do anything which wouldn't give him happiness. Shobna is buggered & says that just take my talks seriously! Then like a loving mom picks up a towel & rubs his wet hair😲 & asks him to meet her social friend's daughter! He says you don't like me hanging with Laxmi, but want me to meet your friend's daughter?!🤡 She agrees & says that she wants them to get to know each other. He is stunned that she is planning his marriage!! 😲 She says of course! He doesn't want to get married but she says that she is not asking but telling him what to do…!! He doesn't like it. She goes away.
Downstairs, Laxmi steps out in the rain…face up, hands stretched…filmy scene!!😳 Background score of "Behta hai mann kahi" from Chameli plays…beautiful! Angad comes there & is smiling at seeing the dancing Laxmi in front of him. She sees him too & stops. He teases her…that I understand you are checking whether rain Gods are showering us with hot water or not. 🤪She starts to give explanation, but he carries on that when I asked you to join me in rains, you made excuses & now…wow!! She puts hands on her head & goes inside. She starts giving excuses, but he says don't worry, wipe your head otherwise you will actually catch a cold. He hands her a towel & goes away. She is clutching to it…feeling the new love....heartbreak hi likha hai iski kismat mei!! Angad is not interested abhi tak!!
After freshening up, she comes to the kitchen. He is busy & she looks at his back for few seconds before interrupting. He is making sandwiches & says that they left the restaurant without food, but is v hungry now. He offers her some too & teases whether she came down to get wet? She denies & says she knew he would be hungry too, so she came down to cook. He says "toh aag dono taraf barabar lagi hai" (cryptic as ever, meaning so both sides are on fire! Y cant he talk normally?😡 bechari kya matlab nikalegi iska?) & she is a bit taken aback. He clarifies in the stomach. Mahen comes & asks what are they doing here since they went out for dinner. Angad tells Mahen about what happened @ restaurant. He makes it sound v filmy but also offers some sandwiches to Mahen. Mahen eats one, & says that he forgot to tell Laxmi something earlier. Angad asks what? Mahen says that the next day, another prospective groom's side is gonna visit & she needs to be ready. Laxmi is upset, Angad is happy for Laxmi. Mahen hopes that everything goes well, Angad expresses his pride & confidence in his student.
Next morning, dadaji is singing praises of Laxmi in front of the groom's side. The groom(uhoh…I shudnt say anything here…but samajh jao kitna sidey hai!!😉) Laxmi in yellow suit comes with Kaveri & the boy stares. Shobna whispers to Tej that she hopes the alliance is finalised, so that she & her son are rid of Laxmi.🤢 Tej says it's a done deal this time. The boy nods to his mom who announces they like the girl. She further adds that she doesn't mind Laxmi being a divorcee, as her son is a divorcee too. She understands situations & stops at saying but. Kaveri asks the mom do u have any demands? She continues that her son needs to travel as per the demands of the job & is barely home for 1 month in a year. His last marriage broke bcoz of this reason only. No one is happy hearing this. Kamni, the mom continues, that wife wanted to be with husband, but family wanted the bahu to be with them. Th groom adds that because it's a touring job, his co & his purses don't allow his wife to be with him all the time. He also says he wishes his wife to stay with his parents & take care of the house & family. Kaveri says she understands their POV, but they want Laxmi to spend her time & life with her husband. She aslo says that Laxmi is their daughter, not a burden. The groom's dad says then in such a case, the marriage is not possible. Kaveri agrees.Tej & Shobna are frustrated. When the visitors leave, Shobna rebukes Kaveri, but Kaveri calmly takes it in her stride. Angad sides with Kaveri, agitating Shobna further. Even Vijay nods in agreement when he says that Laxmi is not a burden that u tie her up with anyone. This remarriage is for her happiness. Laxmi is impressed, aur kya?
Cut to Kaveri & Randal clearing the table after everyone's left, when Shobna comes & taunts Kaveri for going beyond a mom to support Laxmi inspite of being a saas. She says your hunt for a perfect match for Laxmi will remain unfulfilled as you want a faultless guy for your Laxmi but even God hasn't made such a guy!kya bola?!! I agree Shobna!!!😆😆 Nothing called the perfect man!!!🤣 Kaveri doesn't like what Shobna is saying. Just then they hear Laxmi cry out in pain. They rush out. Laxmi has slipped down the stairs (ghar mei, who wears heels now?!!! 😡 more stupid plots to get Angad Laxmi close!!!🤢🤢..show us something different & original)..Mahen announces. Laxmi is in a lot of pain. Angad holds her hand & gives her support to walk away. Shobna is fuming!!
