I'm not sure if she's really breaking her promise...i think she said i wont let u down or something similar right?...Its debatable whether she's lying or not... I think she's well within keeping the spirit of her promise (so far)...She's found a rishta for herself with a cute (mostly), sensible(somewhat), rich( very) guy...Granted his relatives are aliens but u cant have everything😃...and look at what a prize the official daamaat is😡

i agree too that the official damaad might give them a lesson on never to be blind towards love marriages...its the character that really matters...arranged or love...i have never seen a more perfect damaad and bahu as anant and navya for their respective families...like...born for each other...😉
and about lying...well...it was stupid to say anything like that...she might not have meant to lie...but still it would have been better if that part of the dialogue was avoided...😳
