The handbag just slide down from suchi's shoulder to her forearm into her hand. She walked in with anxious face into that pivate room, and her eyes were focusing only on the bed where Radhika was resting .

"Mom, you here already!"

Suchi ignored Dev's voice and only looked at Radhika, who was trying to sit to show Suchi that she is fine.

Dropping the bag on the table unknowingly, Suchi sat on that chair from which Dev moved away.

"How are you beta?" signaling Radhika to rest back. Suchi felt the relief after taking Radhika's hand in hers.

Radhika with a smile: I am fine mom, I felt little tired and

Dev sitting at the head side of the bed in sideways: no mom, she didn't eat anything for two days and

Suchi: why beta

Radhika: no mom, just today, I felt so nauseated and

Dev: no mom, don't listen to her, look at her legs, I am sure she was walking around all the time and was not resting at all

Suchi noticed Radhika's swollen feet.

Rohini: no beta, she was resting only, even she didn't go for any walk yesterday or today, I also noticed that swelling.

Dev: Maaji you are back, what the doctor said?

Mohan: Dr. said we can go, everything is fine it seems like.

Suchi: No Dev, she is fine, let's go home, anyway there is still time , right?

Then he stood in pause for a second and then looked at Rohini's smiling face

Interpting him, Suchi: Dev, enough, now anyway doctor gave permission right, let's go home.

Suchi and Dev helped Radhika to get up from bed while Rohini packed everything back into that little bag.

Soon they reached back to Radhika's house and Yeshpal, Sushma, and Daadi were waiting impatiently outside the house looking at their way.

Mohan pulled the jeep in, followed by Suchi's car along with Dev and Rahdika.

Daadi felt relief seeing Rohini's smily face.

They exchanged the talk, and later Suchi went along with Yeshpal and Sushma to haweli.

Radhika was resting well in bed, watching Dev finishing his work on his laptop and then getting up to close the door.

Dev coming near: So when Rahul will be back?

Radhika: most probably tomorrow.

Dev: he sounded having all masti

Radhika: he waited so long to go for this school trip, and this is his first trip with his school friends , you can imagine.

Dev smiled as he was checking on her feet.

Radhika: that will be alright by tomorrow

Dev: no radhika, let me massage it for sometimes, maybe that will help, it was never be this bad, ...you talk to me something , ok.

She just smiled

Dev: um, now you smile, you really scared me today

Suddenly feeling bad, Radhika's sad voice came out: sorry

Dev looking at her: no Radhika, I didn't mean to hurt you, I just want you to be well, and I know you are going through so many discomfort, and I cannot do anything about it. So atleast if I can be near you, then I feel better.

Radhika tried to bring a smile

Dev: more than you it is my little princess who scared me today

Radhika watched as his face moved towards her tummy

"you don't know beta when mamma told that you are not moving much, I was unable to think anything better, one time your daadi scold me for browsing all the sites for negative things, that time I didn't get why she is scolding me, but now I know.

Radhika: when? , didn't I know that?

Dev: are you listening to us, this is our private time

Radhika: I was not listening, but you are talking so loud, so I happen to hear it

Dev: oh, no Radhika it was earlier, and I stopped doing it.

Radhika: when?

Dev: when Dr. Sulochana asked about baby movements and all, I was so nervous and my first place to ask or check is internet , so I was browsing, and I was not understanding many terms and things they were saying , so naturally I asked mom, and she scolded me so badly and wanrned only to listen to the doctor for now.

Radhika: um, so now

Dev: so only I brought that book for you , recommended by mom, and did you ever read it

Radhika: ha, I did

Dev: um

Radhika wrapped her arms around his head and brought near to her chest and resting his head over her upper chest, she said: when you are around me, nothing bad will happen to me or to our angel, because your love will protect us from everything.

Dev: Radhika.. the soft voice trailed as he placed a kiss over her lower jaw. Lifting his head up slightly, looking at her face, he said: I missed you a lot

Radhika: me too

And he saw that tear escaping from the corner of her eyes.

With a smile he rubbed that off and resting back in position he said: I know everything will be fine Radhika, now I won't leave you alone. The more you stay away from eyes, the more I need you close by.

Radhika just wrapped her arms around his chest, to convey her wish too. Radhika kept on listening to his heartbeat as she was fully awake with the added fluid load.

Dev went out with his daadaji , and watched his day going , tackling villager's issues, and looking at the progress of agricultural facilities. He even went along with daadaji for a meeting to get sanction for a grapevain yard funding issues for the villagers. The land was offered to the villagers by Yeshpal, and they were trying to get a suitable scheme to purchase the plants and other materials needed to cultivate it.

The officer took the application and showing the betal stained teeth outside , the officer said "I will look into it".

The car was moving at its pace back home, listening to the villagers talk, Dev thought ' what the big deal about it?" without understanding the struggle of those poor people he moved on with picking that beeping cell and with a smile he answered,"bolo Radhika"

Suchi: I know, you'll say all this very cool way in front of everyone, and then secretly call Mohan bhayya at night to make sure everything is fine

Surender: what else I do, when my own gynecologist wife show this action at home.

Suchi: ha for that also you need to pick on me

Surender: otherwise how do we know, you look at Rohini behan, is she tensed like you?

Suddenly Rohini paused and looked at those staring eyes

Dev ran upstairs as lechu was continuing with her concern for Radhika...
