Monday 18/7/11 Episode No 317
Sundu and RR are in the car. Sundu voices his opinion " i thought that it would be an
easy job to appease Santhosh...but looking at the way he picked fights with the office staff...vishayam is more serious than I thought !!" RR asks "pray why did you not tell
me this when i was in the office??" Sundu says that Roja complains about this drama
too much and so he wanted to spare her from witnessing more trash - hopes Roja
hopes 😉. RR asks Sundu to call VVK - "santhosh is in the office, appO VVK vantha
more problems ( amma athu enna, ippO avan office pakkam varuvaan nnu hopes??

Holds VVK's collar...which gets witnessed by the peon who brings coffee for the
brothers. VVK leaves and outside the office sees the missed call. Calls Sundu
who promptly says "keep off the office, we are not in " VVK agrees and of course
hides that he has had a tete et tete with darling bro.
Aadhi has got a job (habba da one VEtti is less in this serial ) Tries to cootchi coo
with Nivedha which is seen by Kaamesh. Promptly comes and drags Nivedha away
after some holding collars (Nivedha obeying Kaamesh?? Since when ??? ) Roja
understands - antha asadu vazhiyara romance ai avaala le ye thaanga mudiyalai.
Kamesh has his eyes on Nivedha ...
VVK meets Mechanic Karthik. VVK wants mechanic to marry soon " Enga kalyaanam nadakkum nnu no hopes.." Tells about his meeting with Santhosh and both construe
(??!!) that Santhosh might know the two timing after all. Mechanic says "hmm oruthar
orutharukka unmai theriyuthu. Now let us think about getting RR out of this mess "
( hmm too late sonny, too late ) RR and Sundu get back to the office. Get to know that Santhosh and VVK met, fought etc., etc., Sundu asks RR to lie low " If you agitate
Santhosh now...more problems.." They go in to the cabin and find Santhosh happily
sitting in RR's chair. Santhosh is dismissed with " Unakku Yetha job inge ippO Kaali
illai, will let you know when some thing comes up.." Santhosh leaves...RR is pensive...

Update for Tues, July 19, 2011:
Episode 318
Kamesh brings Nivedha home and she sits and cries on the couch. Manju asks what happened, and she gets up and tells Kamesh not to interfere again in her affairs. Anu comes to see what the matter is, Kamesh said it doesn't look nice for her and Adhi to be meeting in public places, Anu sides with him, and Manju scolds her for siding with Kamesh. Kamesh says he will not interfere in any of their family matters any more (btw, I thought he had a job somewhere and had come for a holiday, ippo enna, thirumbavum ingeyaa deraa pOtaachu pOle irukku?).
Srinath and his dad waiting for Karthi at the same restaurant that everyone goes to, in the garden. They want to know how Karthi is going to solve his family problem (that should be RR's job, he created the problem in the first place by lying consistently for the past 25 years). He says he has no idea how he is going to solve it. Shreenivasan suggests that Shree talk to his mother, and let Anu find the truth. (That's what we also say - let Palli find out, let her kick RR out, let Anu find out, let her have a heart attack, and let RR be left without any wifey).
Adhi comes to see Ganesh and Rukku. He tells them how Kamesh acted the other day, and Ganesh says he will talk to Kamesh, he is acting out of paasam. Adhi tells them that Nivedha wanted to know the real reason for postponing the marriage for six months, and Ganesh says he will work on that also. Just then, Kamesh enters, and he and Adhi exchange dagger-filled looks. Adhi leaves, and Ganesh tells Kamesh he didn't behave properly. Rukku tells him that he should have taken her home and talked to her there, not acted the way he did.
Grand Thyagi scene - he gathers his MIL, FIL, Karthi and Priya on the bald upstairs and says he wants to admit the truth. Everyone melts. He says he knows that Karthi knows the truth because he hid the fact that he had met Santhosh in the office. (Everyone lies in this serial, including the great Karthi, who hates lies) Priya says that everyone knows he is a nallavar, and they will always support him. RR thanks them all. He says he is proud of Karthi who didn't let on that Santhosh grabbed him in the office. Karthi thanks RR for having been such a great father. FIL and MIL thank their mappillai and say they will tell the truth to Palli and Anu. Right then, Palli comes there, wants to know what they are discussing without her. RR lies as usual and says they were talking about Shreenidhi. (the man should be horse whipped!). Palli feels Shree will neither forgive her nor change her mind, and Karthi says the day will come soon when Shree will ask for forgiveness from Palli.

Wednesday 20th July 2011 Episode - 319
Anu's house - Nivedha & Manju having dinner (in this serial people always seem to be eating or having coffee ) Anu is thoughtful. Nivedha & Manju ask her to have dinner. She is waiting for Santhosh and the trouble that would accompany him. If Santhosh comes drunk the girls want to throw him out. Santhosh arrives very sober. He did not drink and Anu is happy about that, but why so late. Did he have so much work at the office. Santhosh tells Anu that "her husband" called him to the office just to humiliate him, no vacancy there. Santhosh wants the Managing Director post of RR, and RR to retire. He would not leave that post continues Santhosh, because only then he can do all his aattam. Anu now gets angry, talks in favour of RR who is working day and night for this family's welfare (family illa Anu kaNNu - families - plural) Santhosh stares at Anu(sollitholaiyENdaa) Santhosh feels very sad for his mother, so saying he is about to leave - is promptly stopped by Anu sporting a bhadrakali look. Tells Santhosh that her husband has not kept her in a pathetic state, he has so much of love for her and will do anything for her. Santhosh smiles, Anu wants the reason for that smile. Santhosh will give her a chance to know how much he loves her. Anu knows her husband and he knows about her. Who is Santhosh in between. Santhosh needles Anu, saying she is scared. Nivedha & Manju join their mother, ask what is that chance that he is talking about? Santhosh wants Anu to call RR and ask him to come immediately. (ada loosE, Palli veetukku kootikittu pOgamaattiya) So saying he leaves. Nivedha and Manju wants hesitant Anu to call RR, reforming Santhosh is more important than RR's "work". She wants to call Sundaram annan and ask him to send RR (who is Sundaram inbetween you and your husband Anu?)
Sundaram in his house, gets a call on his handphone from Raja Home 1. Answers the call, Anu wants to know where he is. At the office he lies. RR is near him right? she asks. No he has gone to the site (artharaathriliyaa??) Anu asks Sundaram why is he working so hard, day and night? For you only replies Sundaram (adapaavi) If RR is working so hard for the happiness of his family - then no one at home is peaceful or happy she tells him. Sundaram asks for the meaning of that sentence (thamizhla thaanE sonnaa - maramaNdai) No one is responsible at home, if they know that daddy comes home at night they would get reprimanded for their mistakes, people at home would behave better. Who is like that Sundaram wants to know. Anu tells all at home(idhu theriya unakku ivvaLavu varusham aachchudhaa) Anu tells Sundaram that Santhosh asked her why RR does not come home everyday? Sundaram is now worried.
Anu has no answer to give Santhosh. Sundaram tells Anu that she should explain to Santhosh about RR's business situation. Annan please replies Anu, what business situation? Does no one else does business in the world? Dont they go home she asks Sundaram. To maintain their position he should work hard replies Sundaram. Anu wants RR at home immediately, she would have called RR but (adha thaanE nee senju irukkaNum, saththiyamaa I dont understand the husband-wife relationship that they depict in this serial. Mr.JK, unga veetula ippadithaanaa?) Thoughtful Sundaram.
RR reading a magazine at Palli's. Palli brings him some drink. Palli starts talking about Shreenidhi. Sundaram arrives, calling for RR. There is some problem at the factory, some labour problem. Takes RR immediately. Comes out and tells that Anu called, some problem with Santhosh at home. RR feels the time has come for him to reveal the truth to Anu. Sundaram asks him not to be in haste (25 years hasteaa) Must be Santhosh is upset with the happenings at the office that morning. Also tells that he told Anu that RR was at the factory (site illa??) Sundaram accompanies RR because he might sodhappufy.
RR & Sundaram arrive at Anu's. She stops them in the driveway. Tells RR enough of working so hard, family should come first, she is tired of doing things alone. The two rascals stand with that SBT look. RR is not bothered about the peace and happiness of this house (very very true, avaru Palli kooda sallaabikkathaan time) accuses Anu. RR is shocked / surprised that Anu is talking like this. Yes confirms Anu, she is, for it is not her fault to talk like this (you should have done this eons ago) All of you are responsible for my accusations she tells them. She did not bring the family problems to RR's notice because she did not want to burden him with that, he is as such working so hard. But now, things have gotten out of hand.
Sundaram intervenes (why are you poking your nose between the husband and wife you idiot) says all this is for their family, she is right from her point of view, but why question RR like an accused in the driveway. Anu retorts with - All that working hard, earning money is okay - but the father has more responsbilities other than just making money in which RR miserably failed. She has told RR about Santhosh, but he is just not bothered, doles out 5 minutes of advice, thats it... Sundaram asks if RR should beat him. Anu says she is not a fool, but RR can raise his voice, ask about Santhosh's problems. Santhosh asked her to prove that RR loves her, how and what is she supposed to do?
RR asks for Santhosh, he is in his room replies Manju. RR starts for Santhosh's room. The whole family and Sundaram rush behind him. Sundaram tries to stop RR, says will talk it out in the morning . RR does not want to procrastinate. Bangs on Santhosh's door, asks Santhosh what his problem is , RR is ready to answer any questions of his. Santhosh hangs his head. Sundaram again intervenes, says Santhosh must be angry because of the office episode. Now that Santhosh knows his father loves the family, all can disperse he says. Anu stops him, she has another thing to say - Tells Santhosh that RR would be home everynight by 9 pm maximum, so Santhosh too should be home by then. Sundaram & RR have flashes on their face.

Thursday...Episode 320
Anu states for the record tht RR will be home by 9pm every night, and Santhosh should be as well.
After Santhosh goes back to his room, Anu apologises for making this decision on RR's behalf. RR tries to intervene, but Anu says thats it, and this is the final decision. Sundu jumps in, saying of course RR will be home (much to RR's shock). RR sitting at the table, stunned and guilty, not knowing how he will fulfill this. Sundu tries to look upbeat about the new decision.
Anu apologises for being bossy and says he must a least be a good father to the kids from now on (well said!). All sit down to eat including Santhosh.
RR approaches Santhosh in his room and asks him to follow him out as he wants to have a chat with him. RR says he wants to tell Santhosh about him. But Santhosh says he already knows and he hasnt revealed anything to his mum. He will keep quiet about this affair unless RR doesnt show up every night by 9pm. RR convinces Santhosh to accompany him outside for a chat. After leaving, the rest of the family, the daughters scold the mom for being aggressive with RR, saying dad was looking so upset when she insisted on him returning home each day (enna family!).
RR and Santhosh arrive at Rukku's house. Santhosh is upset and Rukku comes out. Santhosh fires them that RR is cheating on his mother. Rukku tries to pacify him, and tries to explain the whole story. Santhosh keeps interupting and says he is disgusted with all of them. Rukku jumps up and down saying there is a very good explanation behind this whole two timer RR.
Santhosh asks if there is some so called nyaayam, why should RR live a 2 timer life? Whatever the story is, why cant RR come clear with Anu, asks Santhosh. RR has no answer (neither do we). Santhosh says this in itself shows RR is guilty and he doesnt want to hear anymore, saying that there is nobody for their family anymore since RR is now focussed on his #2 biwi.
Palli and Vetti karthik meet Anu on the road (only 1 road in Chennai). Anu apologises for Santhosh and tries to justify that Santhosh is not a bad guy generally. Palli says its ok but she has a point to make. Santhosh probably didnt understand what is right and wrong (I dont understand this- you mean she thinks a grown up man cant judge what to speak when??)
She goes ahead to needle that Anu has not brought up Santhosh well. Because of that, Santhosh si acting this way. She says Karthi on the other hand has been brought up well by her and her husband. (Karthi is also useless by the way). So she claims Santhosh has bad upbringing and Anu needs to look into that. Anu is shocked and in tears.
Karthik scolds his mother for being so insensitive and why she was so hurtful in the comments when Anu tried to apologise. Palli says she is not sorry but wanted to get her point across (She is the same old arrogant woman) that Anu has bad parenting skills. Karthik says well, Palli is also rude to her parents, so she also has bad upbringing (we all agree).
They get into the car, Palli has a headache, and Karthik asks her t lie down i the back seat. He stops the car when she spots Patti on the road, and offers her a ride home. She hesitates but Karthi insists, so she gets into the car. They make some small talk, and suddenly she hears Palli from the back seat asking who is Karthi talking to in front. (lke its a limousine...just lift your head and you will know!!!)...Thodarum,

Unbelievable! and just finished typing it up and something happened, and everything is gone! I am typing all over again.

Palli wakes up in the back of the car and asks Karthi, Who are you talking to> Paati turns around, sees her and does a rudra thandavam, demanding to let her off immediately. Palli asks her why she is so angry with her, naan enna panninen ungalukku? , but Paati insists on getting down and walks off when Karthi stops the car.
Palli goes home, angry as always. Sivagami and Priya ask what happened, Karthi explains about his picking up Gomathy paati and her insistence on getting off when she saw that Palli was in the car. After Palli leaves for her bedroom to rest, Priya says that she wants to meet Paati, so Karthi agrees to take her along.
Anu in her house, all decked up and moping. Manju and Nivedha decide to do the cooking, they go into the kitchen, and are trying to decide what to cook. Santhosh comes home, Anu wants to know where he is headed, he doesn't say anything, she starts her usual polambal and says, Go ahead and drink, drink and ruin yourself and your sisters' lives, and I will die somewhere, then you will be happy. He says he did not drink.
Santhosh is looking for money in his mother's purse, finds it and takes it. Manju sees him doing it, calls mom and Nivedha, Anu starts yet another polambal about hsi stealing from home to drink, go ahead and drink, ruin all of us, etc. RR and Sundu hear all this (why can't this Sundu go home, why is he always with RR when he comes to Anu's house, he doesn't follow RR to Palli's house). RR goes and asks Santhosh what his prachnai is, Santhosh gives him a look and walks out. Sundu follows, tries to get Santhosh to talk, but Santhosh won't listen and leaves.
