Hey everyone 😊 For a long time I kept thinking whether to write this post or not, but then I had to, as I just wanted to know if anyone else had a similar opinion to mine. Some things are bothering me, and I wanted to discuss them.
I had stopped watching the show for a few weeks, as I was extremely busy with some work. But I started to watch it again since this week. I found that I was enjoying this track, I liked Baba trying to win back Pratigya, I loved his different methods, his uniqueness, his enthusiasm. But when I came to discuss these things on the forum, I was kind of surprised that hardly anyone else thought like this 😕
Is it really that big a deal? Is Krishna really being very childish and immature? I don't understand why everyone says this? If he is acting childish and immature, then what would be the MATURE way to solve this issue? Does he really have any other option when Prats isn't willing to talk to him? Why is everyone so disappointed with Krishna?
Also, is it just me, but didn't Dadi's statement, "Jitni uski samajh hai, utna hee karega na" about Krishna seem condescending? Somehow it seemed to me that Dadi still thinks herself and her family superior to Krishna mentally. To me, it sounded like she said "Pratigya, you know he's not as smart as you, he's somewhat dumb, so of course he'll act like a dumb person" 😡 Am I wrong in interpreting Dadi's statement? Or is it my inherent dislike for Dadi that is causing me to think so? 😆
Lastly, I'm a bit annoyed with Pratigya. I remember reading that in a recent episode, she said something like she's sad that she wasn't able to change Krishna to the way she wanted. Question is, if you love someone, aren't you supposed to love them the way they are? With all their quirks and idiocies? Should you expect them to change to exactly the way you want?
I know, it's a very random post, with randomly arranged topics. But this is what is going on in my mind, and I've started feeling very different from the rest of the forums... seems my opinion differs from everyone elses, and I wanted to know if anyone else thought like me 😊

Great post and great questions
I have never come across a couple more in need of marriage counselling .. however sitting down and talking to a shrink doesn't make for good television .. noutanki on the other hand brings in great ratings!
The CVs have currently sold out to the ratings war, therefore they are having both main protogonists behave in fashion that was more approriate at the start of the show -Krishna in true krishna krishna krishna form and Pratigya all prissy and full of her self! Dadi too reverting to the old Saxena condescending ways...
Take heart - these seem to be filler episodes - until the couple reunite and hopefully REALLY start talking ...

Hi Elle,
On a close read of your questions, it decends a lot of my FFT...
Here let me explain first.
See - you missed the crucial part of the show in recent times.
Pratigya tells Krishna not to drink.. so he takes a swigg of it right in her face, but after she leaves he throws the bottle away.
He burns her clothes, went to remove his tatoo, didn't listen to her... then stamped the divorce papers. Trashed the dabba too.
So now does a song and dance put that right?
Had he not got too such an extend then yes these moments would have been sweet.
Also - it is very filmy - not the usual MKAP standards, and far from KST standards too.
Thou we all loved the song and dance.
His acts are immature, because if he realised his responsibilities then he would have gone about sorting the dabba out. Approaching Pratigya in a more subtle way.
She hates public confrontations, and that is what he is doing, embarrasing her in public. A romantic like Arushi or Komalia would have loved it, even Kesar would too, but Pratigya.. NO sir she wouldn't.
Don't worry half of the audience do not understand what Pratigya wants, and regarding the 'wanting to change him statement' is a bp raiser...
daadi's statement, u got it right. In the precap - Krish too is hinting the same thing about being uneducated. Which I disagree with bec like the example of Akber, being uneducated doesn't mean that you don't have basic understanding of life, whether you are a thakur or a king.
Krishna's behaviour... what can one call it apart from childishness, This time he is not showing a humble hurt - But his KST smug looks - that we all used to love, and still do.
Pratigya not giving him a chance to talk.. does that surprise you elle, when did she ever give anyone a chance to talk.
Hope this helps.

That's just the problem lovestea, I am enjoying this track, and the way Krishna is running after Pratigya. I like the light comedy after months and months of seriousness, and somehow I'm in no hurry for it to end.
I think I've become exactly the sort of viewer the producers want, the one who enjoys whatever they show.
What I don't like is how I feel so isolated from the rest of the forums now

Is it really that big a deal?No Is Krishna really being very childish and immature?somewhat I don't understand why everyone says this?😕 If he is acting childish and immature, then what would be the MATURE way to solve this issue?beats me because he did try to act civilized Does he really have any other option when Prats isn't willing to talk to him? No Why is everyone so disappointed with Krishna? not me... i lub this krishna👍🏼
Also, is it just me, but didn't Dadi's statement, "Jitni uski samajh hai, utna hee karega na" about Krishna seem condescending? Dadi, will always think high of herself and family and Krishna will always be low. Somehow it seemed to me that Dadi still thinks herself and her family superior to Krishna mentally.wonder if she forgotten her other two grands miss deeds.😡 To me, it sounded like she said "Pratigya, you know he's not as smart as you, he's somewhat dumb, so of course he'll act like a dumb person"where does that leave her adarsh and arusi 😡 Am I wrong in interpreting Dadi's statement? No Or is it my inherent dislike for Dadi that is causing me to think so? 😆...👍🏼 maybe ,probably ,could be, yes yes yes😉

I am ok with this track, some light heartedness is ok in between.
But, again coming back to the points that you raised - 'It is not just dadi who feels K is inferior to P and her family, but the CVs do too.'
And they do not want to show K setting the dhaba straight, till P tells him - why because - as per CVs K has left his mind some where in jusi hills once he knew P also loves him.

Carisma, I think you just gave me the exact answer I was looking for. Now I understand why I was so confused. Since the past few weeks, I've only been relying on the written updates, and I now realize that reading the updates does not have the same impact as watching the show... Thank you for listing down once again what all Krishna had done, the drinking, destroying BKD etc. I'd forgotten about all this, and so I was a bit annoyed that Prats was not finding Baba adorable 😳 Putting it all in perspective, Prats is right, and however cute Krishna seems these days, he shouldn't be forgiven so easily.

Regarding Dadi, I fully stand by my statement. The annoying lady still hasn't realized that even uneducated ppl can be very samajhdar, just look at SS. Just when Dadi was starting to be less annoying, she went back to square 1.

Thank you carisma, for helping me put it all in perspective. I'd actually wanted to comment on your FFT only, but I didn't want to ruin it with my useless bakaity. 😊

Thanks and you are most welcome...
Yaar you are always welcome to share your thoughts in the FFT, I love your comments.
What gets me, is if ppl make indirect comments to me abt my attitude, questioning my motive for writing a certain piece...
But healthy discussion is fine...
So don't worry yaara, if we had missed all this, then we would hae felt the same as you did too. Baba is such a character that despite all this, we still adore him.
True yaar reading, and viewing is two diff things. after reading the update, I was going to fire P, but then the bit where I saw her softening just before the reporters came - it gave me a diff insight. So i calmed down and looked at it from all perspectives.
Yesterdays, epi - daadi was in her own way sticking up for krish... praying that he doesn't do any harm to himself. her statement could also mean coming from the thaks, violent ways are his only means of thinking.
Glad to help hun. xxx

He was being immature but harmless at the same time, he was consoling her in the way he knows best given his capacity. It may be distasteful to some but he was trying to diffuse the situation using humour as a means.

That quote can be interpreted in many ways, it could be genuine concern, condescension or anything else. K is a very basic person & realises he's cocked up but perhaps considers it an aberration a mere mishap on his part judging from his antics & doesn't quite grasp the seriousness of it all [the gravity of the situation], he doesn't realise he's lost credibility as a husband I wonder if he'd be so comical had he been on the receiving end instead of P, Daadi's statement was apt, at least i agree with it though she's known for her pathetic largesse attitude towards the Thakur family but she hit the nail on the head on this occasion though her words are irrelevant at the end of the day :)

P isn't doing herself any favours undoubtedly upset & hurt it would've been better had she actually communicated with K about his cheap behaviour, by adopting a rigid stance 24/7 she proves she's just as jaahil as K is. Understandably she is hurt and naturally would want to shun him so she chose a method that deemed fit in her eyes. I personally do not agree with it but whatever works for her, she's the aggrieved party.
