Balaji's new show which is tentatively titled Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas on Colors is making the rounds these days. After Sameer Soni being finalised to play the male lead in the show, the latest buzz is that Prachi Deshmukh who was last seen as younger Taani in Tere Liye is tipped to be cast opposite Sameer Soni in the show.
Our source informs, "Priyamvada Sawant was the original choice for the role but due to some reasons the production house is keen on casting Prachi Deshmukh. It is also heard that Ekta is very fond of Prachi and considers her apt for the role. Prachi has already given the look test and has auditioned for the role. The show is based on the life of an advocate who gets married to a lawyer who is a daughter of another well-known advocate. However, after their marriage, problems sneak into their relationship and the couple gets separated. This will irk father-in-law who will start creating problems for him. Later, the show will see the entry of the female lead. The show will have a Punjabi flavour as it will be about two Punjabi families and it is tentatively titled Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas."
We spoke to Prachi Deshmukh who says, "I have auditioned for the role but I haven't received any confirmation yet and I don't want to comment any further."
