Song selection for Geet was poor. Anyways, some parts of the song were splendid, but for most it didn't suit his voice. Geet did sound like he was trying his best. Nothing noteworthy, but not bad.

Last Minute were off scale completely. Later, they stabilized and got better actually. Below average performance from them.

I actually liked Piyush's performance for once. Song suited his voice well, and he did complete justice to it 👏 What emotions he put into it, brilliant! 👏

Kartar ji was better. However, his voice is still pretty wasted and exhausted. He cannot control his lower notes and breaks off when he goes too high.

Just loved the innovation in Sajda sister's performance 👏 The different scales the 3 sisters sung in was wow! 👏 Not to mention, they were in tune! What imperfections was Shreya talking about? 😕

Sahiti's singing was sooo graceful, it was perfect! 👏 Well coordinated, neat, well modulated performance! Such a pleasure to hear! 👏

IDK, for some reason, I didn't find Nirmiti's performance satisfactory 😔 Maybe because of the high level they've set for themselves 😔 There was that 'zing' missing.

Amit's was an average performance. I agree with what SLB said, didn't have that punch required.

Seema's performance was very good! 👏 She has such a sweet, sharp and clear voice 👏 She can really capture the nuances of songs like these very well!

What an end by Dewaanas! They were true dewaanas today 😆 Coming to the singing, wow! I have really no words 👏 The Dewaana onslaughter continues 👏

I guess it might have hurt the puritans but honestly the blues feel of the song was made threadbare and exploited to the fullest and I salute sonu and piyush's courage to attempt it. One needs to be really self confident and sure of one's art to do that and Sanjay Leela Bhansali understood that when he gave the accolades to sonu rather than to piyush because he knew where the confidence and inspiration came from and kudos to sonu for understanding the mindset of his student and being a revolutionary mentor by giving his pupil the freedom he absolutely needs, especially piyush. he tried with sahiti and failed. She is far too closed and unadventurous to have attempted what he expected of her.

Sonu is a true lover of all genres of music I must say. And what to say of Piyush. he is a free soul. Hope his parents especially his father understand him and give him the space and opportunities he needs.
