Part -23

Geet broke the gaze and took the roses from his hands and he started the car and both drove off.

Both sat silenly through out the ride stealing glaces of each other secretly. Maan broke the silence when the car stopped "geet…ur house came"

Geet turned and looked at her house throught he window and turned back to maan " thank u sir"

She got down the car as maan also got down and walked to her. She handed the flowers in her hand to maan and said " yeh lo sir aap ki roses"

" this is for u geet take it." He returned her the bunch.

But she dint take instead stared at him without blinking when he again spoke "geet take it."

She came out of trance and took the roses from him thanked him again and stated to walk to her house. Maan stood there folding his hands at his chest and leaning on to the car looking at geet walking away.

Geet fell in thoughts "aaj maan sir kitna alag lag raha hai…..he took to to dinner….said sorry…that too in a soo wonderful way….no one until now told me like this way…special way…..he dint shout at me all day…he even bought flowers for me…..geet dekh maan sir tumhareliye itna sab kiya…but tum…u did nothing just a thank u is not enough na…."

She stooped in her way and turned back immediately. Maan saw her coming towards him and he straitened himself. Geet came to him and stood infront of him. Maan looked at her as geet spoke " sir u r different today"

"what?" maan dint expect this coming.😕

" I mean aaj subha se aap mujhe nahi danta upper se sorry bola and now these roses" geet spoke with out even thinking for once what's coming out of her mouth. Maan stood there listening to her and a smile appeared on his face.

Geet realized what she spoke when she heard herself speak " kya hum dost nai ban sakthe?" she is shocked to hell listening to what came out of her mouth.

Maan started at her equally shocked and happy by her words "dost?...wow…do u know geet from when I m waiting for this moment? To make friendship with u. do u know geet since childhood I followed u admired u liked ur every thing…ur smile ur naughtiness ur attitude ur character ur behaviour ur eyes ur bak-bak and ever single thing in u…..i many times thought to come infront of u make friend ship with u…but never dared…but u here dared……this easily asked…this easily extened ur hand for friendship to me…u know me just as ur boss…the angry and arrogant boss….but even u r so brave…..every minute u r making me to fall for u for ur ever act…now tell me geet how can I stop falling for u, how can I say no to you..i wonder can I ever say no to any of ur words?."

Geet on the other side realized what she did and looked at her hand which was in air waiting for his hand to meet it." geet yeh tumne kya kiya…..i asked him for friendship. But I cant take my hand back what will he think. Ok ek idea"

Maan came out of his thoughts when geet spoke " sir its ok if u don't want to" saying so geet started to back off her hand but instantly maan forwarded his hand and took her's in his "aisa nahi hai geet……I m glad to accept ur friendship."

Maan shook his hand with geet but geet saw him with shocked expression an thought " yeh kya hogaya….i thought to cover up my act but her ended with making maan singh khurana as my friend…but being geet handa's friend is not that easy now he will come to know what I am" she smirked.

"sir just by shaking hand friendship doesn't form u must work a lot to maintain it……its really hard to be as geet handa's friend. Can u?"

" I know" maan said looking at geet's bubbly way.

'what?"

"I mean I know that u r soo hard to bear u"

"hard to bear? What?"

"i I mean u always fight" maan self talk"maan tum yeh kya kardiya?"

"I always fight? Abhi abhi dosti hogaya and again u started fighting? Don't u know not fighting with each other is the first rule in friendship?"

"yeh rule kaha se aayi?"

"arhhh…talking to u is waste of time…u never know" geet leaves from there irritated with maan.

But maan smiles at her and thought " finally geet handa became friend of maan singh khurana….wow…ek dream pura hogaya maan…..i still remember the days when I used to watch her secretly….yes maintaing friendship with geet handa is really a hard task…..i saw how she used to fight with yash, meera,sid,mish and dia and how they used to always giveup their angry and please her. Its always the other person to say sorry….geet never said……I think I m lucky to have her in my life. Geet I promise u that I will keep up to u to maintain ur friendship……..i will show u that maan singh khurana is eligible for geet handa's friendship." Maan sat in car and drove of to khurana mansion still lost in geet's thoughts.
