Monday 27/6/11 nOndhu pOna Roja update panraa
Guess what?? MMRM ( Mike Muzhungi Raj Mohan ) spits his mike out !!! Joins the
" RR Ashtothram singing " crowd !!!! Ayyo ayyo...Roja nOndhu pOitta ppa. For his
part MMRM justifies " I always thought that lust is the main reason for a second
channel ...but RR is a thyagi ( ayyyooo) blah blah.." Finally he agrees
for Aadhi-Nivedha wedding. Tells AAR and Ganesh that he wants to conduct both the weddings together. AAR says that the weddings can not happen immediately ( Aadhi - Nivedha ..OK but why not Shruthi and Vcky??) She tells MMRM that the biwis have to
accept "the fact" that RR is a thyagi and grace the weddings. MMRM also says that
he wants only blessings for his kids "not any one's stomach burning " - uh huh.
Mission accomplished . Next destination?? Roja kku vera velai?? She follows AAR
and Ganesh.
Roja is fed up of hearing RR and his thyagam - so two lines. AAR visits Vicky's
parents and gives them the good and bad news. "Shruthi - Vicky wedding is on but
not immediately " Paavam antha janangal, accept panni thaane aaganum?? Mechanic
Karthik is getting ready to go out after making a dig at Selva for her brinjal sambar.
MMRM comes to meet Gopi - general "na thaan thappu...naa thaan thappu " happens.
Gopi takes MMRM to meet Thyagi RR - habbbaaa
Next stopping - Anu's house " RM said ok for Nivedha - Aadhi wedding...oh really...so
happy ... " happens. Nivedha asadu vazhiyarathu. Anu says " athellam ok, but why did
he stop the engagement?? Antha reason namakku therinje aaganum. Illatta, we have
to dance to his tunes !!" AAR says that they did not want to probe too much. "He has
accepted the wedding, let us do it slowly. Nee pOi yethanum kettu don't rock the boat
ok??" Anu agrees - pinne?? No option right??

RM and Gopi come to see RR at the site, where he is busy spouting Gandhi-isms, Even if it takes time to get the cement, it doesn't matter, as long as we get it in the neyarmaiyaana way! RM falls at RR's feet, says he has understood that RR did a maha thyagam in getting married for the second time (was hiding the fact that he had already been married also a thyagam? This story disgusts me. If there is another serial by Abinaya creations after this, please count me out. In fact, we should all boycott serials by Abinaya) More and more praise for the uyarndha guNam of RR, and RM begs for forgiveness. RR forgives him.
Palli and her mother in the kitchen, neither one knows if Karthi has returned - adhu enna periya mansionaa? Veetu manushan veetule irukkaana illaiyaanu kooda theriyaadhaa? Oh, I forget, these people don't shut the front door, so anyone can walk in and out any time) Palli's mom goes to ask that arrogant, spoiled brat Priya (why do they keep cardboard boxes stacked in one corner of the room? Oh, now it is time for Palli to change houses!) and she says that Karthi is in his room. She goes and finds that Karthi is having fever, so she comes down and asks Palli for medicines to give him. Palli herself takes the medicines and milk to Karthi.
Temple - the one and only temple in chennai, where everyone comes to worship - Palli comes out, Gayathri and Shree are just entering. Shree doesn't want to talk to palli, but Palli tells Gayathri about Karthi's fever (do people go to the temple just for an ordinary fever? Isn't this carrying it too far?) Shree takes Gayathri inside, and G tells Shree that what she is doing isn't right.
Balu is thinking about Shree's future. Paati says Shree's decision is the right one.Just then, Gayathri and Shree arrive at their house, and Gayathri tells Paati about meeting Palli at the temple and learning about Karthi being very sick and having a fever. Paati looks concerned.

Wednesday 29th June 2011 Episode - 304
Paatti asking Gayathri why this sudden visit? Gayathri tells of her meeting Palli at the temple. Karthik has fever, Palli begged Shreenidhi to forgive her but Shreenidhi did not even want to see her. Balu & Meenakshi kneading - their hands. Gayatri continues, there was a time when Palli did not understand Shreenidhi now the reversal of roles. Even when Palli told that Karthik is unwell (verum fever, idhukku why all of them so much alattals )Shreenidhi wasnt...she shuts up as Shreenidhi gets them all coffee. Shreenidhi asks paatti to be the judge, to say if the coffee is super or sodhappal (idhu namma lingo maadhiri illa??) Shreenidhi prods and paatti replies romba nalla irukku.. Meenakshi gives a look.
Paatti on the thiNNai, thoughtful. Meenakshi arrives there. Says she knows that paatti is thinking about her grandson Karthik who is unwell. Paatti refutes, was contemplating whether to go to the temple then or in the evening. Not bothered about strangers. (indha paatti eppo balitiyO - God please let her not forgive RR) Meenakshi follows her inside, wants to visit the temple then itself, she would accompany too. Wants to visit Karthik on the way. Paatti asks if Meenakshi has gone crazy. Meenakshi is hurt. Paatti changes her mind - will not come inside the house. Meens is happy that paatti atleast is willing to come until the gate.
Paatti thanks Venky hanging there. Meenakshi catches her red handed almost. Teases if she is thanking God for giving an opportunity to visit her grandson. Paatti asadu vazhinjings, accepts.
Palli's mother asking Palli to pOthi vittufy Karthik. RR comes asking about Karthik. Still has fever tells the worried Sivakami. Asks why havent visited the doctor yet? Karthik is refusing to come replies Palli. And Karthik doesnt look so sick to me. pOi edhaavadhu vElai paarththa udambu ellaam seriya pOidum - dhandachOru. Palli shouts fever hasnt come down since yesterday even after having those tablets. Asks RR to touch and see(thermometer kooda use paNNaamaa fever measuring...) RR & Palli force him to go to the doctor. About to get into their car - an auto arrives. Meenakshi peeping out. Palli tells RR that Meenakshi & Balu have come. The auto moves away and Palli is happy to see paatti all kadu kadu & a smiling Meenakshi there.
Paatti shouts at Meenakshi saying she wouldnt have accompanied her if she knew the destination. Meenakshi starts but is stopped by paatti. RR, Karthik, Sivakami come to the gate. Palli begging paatti to come in, paatti shouting at Meenakshi and RR is all smiles ( I just felt like breaking his head - two timing liar) Sivakami almost says sambandhi, corrects herself and tries to pacify paatti. Forget and come in she says. Paatti cannot and will not forget anything she stresses the anything. RR's smile vanishes. SBT look. Palli goes to the middle of the road where Meenakshi & Paatti are standing. Asks Meenakshi to bring paatti in. Paatti asks Meenakshi to leave with her. Meenakshi ready to spill the beans. Paatti stops her and almost drags her.
Karthik calls paatti. RR stops him, says not to say anything in anger. Karthik says he knows. Goes to the conference hall - nadu road. Asks paatti to keep kumkumam and vibuthi from the temple. She might hate Palli but she used to like him, reminds her of the chain snatcher who pushed her and went. Asks for this vibuthi kumkumam in return (idhu enna kanraaviyO) She does as asked for praying that he becomes alright soon. Karthik thanks her. Paatti & Meens leave.
Paatti crying in the auto to Meenakshi asking for forgiveness. Her actions at Palli's house towards Meenakshi is repented. Paatti is very sorry for having hurt Meenakshi. RR measuring the construction site. Sundu comes, Gopi is there too. Sundu tells of some project report to be given to some party, he would go with Jenny. Thoughtful RR says okay. Both Sundu & Gopi wants to know why he is upset. Sundu wants him to tell his problem so that he can solve it (andha lakshanam thaan paakkarOmE - indhaaLu solving problems - reNdu kai pOraadhu) RR Ottufies paatti's visit.

thursday update:
Nothing much really happened. (as usual). RR with Sundu and Gopi at a construction site, explaining that his mum insulted Palli and left his house after arriving there in an auto with Balu's wife. Sundu sappakattu-ing saying she will come around one day.
RR goes home, Palli feeling down, relates temple story, on how Shree was "unmoved" by Karthi's fever condition (give me a break!!) and even Gayathri was shocked why Shree didnt care Karthi had fever. (even I would have done the same as Shree). RR's father in law suggests RR and Palli to go to Gayathri's house and try to fix the marriage with Shree and Karthi, RR agrees. (Do you not understand the girl doesnt want to marry your son, how do they "fix" a marriage when the bride isnt interested? Talk about thick skinned)
Anu's home. Nivedha listening to music...her sister comes andteases her about her wedding, both run up to Anu while being teased. Anu asks what happened and Nivedha says her sister is being a pest..Anu advises Nivedha that she is so happy MMRM agreed ot the marriage but she doesnt know what tickes him off, so please be careful of your behavior. She advises (proper advice for the first time!) to be careful and not oor suthufy with Aadhi for a while and behave herself in case MMRM gets angry about something she does and cancels the wedding. Nivedha agrees. Anu's brother is overhearing this conversation and is shocked/starts plotting in his mind.
Santhosh with his friends, asking him out for a drink in the park. He refuses, says he needs to become more responsible for the sake of his parents, and leaves (nalla kaariyam).
Meenakshi sitting alone at night, Balue comes along, and she relates the full story of what happened with her and Patti at Palli's house even though Patti asked her to bring her there.
Balu and Meenakshi agree to go to palli's house and ask for forgiveness for the embarassment Palli suffered because of Patti.
Next day, they go to Palli's house, and realise that RR and Palli are going to Gayathri's house to ask for Shree's hand in marriage for Karthi. They are very happy and supportive...thodarum

Anu praying. Turns and is surprised to find Santhosh too praying. Santhosh is sorry for having hurt Anu and RR. Will be a good boy henceforth. Manju & Nivedha join in. Santhosh asks sorry again - is forgiven by all - and the family heads for breakfast. (indha family la no RR - avaru always only with Palli - rogue) Santhosh is going out with friends to look out for a job (enna joint venture aa??)
RR and Palli in the car, RR worried that Palli is worried. vera enna about Shreenidhi Karthik wedding - will take place or will not. Shreenidhi's anger justified. Wouldnt it be so claustrophobic for anyone - with someone like Palli tagging. RR feels that Shreenidhi is a changed person now. She will come by. No one knows what is in her mind. Palli wants to know if Shreenidhi is not angry with her then. RR is sure she still loves Karthik , will have to find the reason behind her anger. Palli is ready to fall on Shreenidhi' s feet if she is the reason, if something else then...only RR should talk to her. RR is very happy about their trust in him (unnai ellaam trustaraanga paaru avangaLa chollaNum) Palli laughs, RR wants her to be like this all the time. They are on the way to Shreenidhi's house - so stop by a fruit shop.
Santhosh with his JV friends. Somefellow who attended an interview says the company wanted him to deposit Rs. 2 lakhs (cashier jobaa??) why not ask your father asks Santhosh. The friend's father wants him to find a job without any money involved. Santhosh says will look for another job. His friends suggest he help his father in the construction business. He too finds it to be better. RR's car passes - unnoticed ofcourse. The car stops at a fruit shop a few feet away from Santhosh and his friends. Santhosh has become responsible so will not keep going around with the gang he announces. RR & Palli come out to buy some flowers. Santhosh bids goodbye to his friends, turns around his bike to see RR & Palli buying flowers. He is shocked.
RR & Palli come to Shreenidhi's house - is welcomed by Gayathri. Shreenivasan to joins them. RR & Palli want to talk to Shreenidhi. Gayathri is reluctant, but Shreenivasan forces her to call Shreenidhi. Shreenath joins them. Gayathri goes to call Shreenidhi. Shreenidhi is not interested in meeting RR & Palli. Gayathri coaxes her, forces her. Shreenidhi stands her ground.
Gayathri comes out to say that Shreenidhi is asleep. Palli asks if Shreenidhi doesnt want to see them. Gayathri finally accepts. RR wants to talk to Shreenidhi and calls out for her (what an irritating family) Says they will not move out from there until she comes out to talk to them. Shreenidhi comes out, RR all smiles. Shreenidhi comes straight to Palli and asks if she has no budhdhi, why she keeps coming over and over to irritate her. Gayathri tries to shut her up. Shreenidhi in full flow - asks if a girl is not interested in the wedding - she should be left alone. Why such begging and emotional blackmails? Let this be your last visit here concludes Shreenidhi. Sorry sir she tells RR and leaves for her room. The rest of the clan is shocked. Shreenivasan is sorry. RR & Palli leave. Shreenath goes to their car - tells RR & Palli, whether the family accepts Shreenidhi's decision or not, they wouldnt want to see her hurt, so please do not keep visiting them. They drive away. Shreenidhi cries in her room...
