KESAR AND GULAAL

It was a beautifully shot scene. I had reserved my comments hoping they would have more to the scene where he sat under the tree. But I must say it was marvelous. The solitary tree standing tall but firmly rooted to the ground. That's how Kesar currently appears; standing all alone looking for his support Gulaal. As long as the tree is rooted to the ground, it stands tall. Apart from that the lone tree is his state of mind right now; Kesar is all alone that too without support.

Did they intend to show a soulful connection between them when Gulaal woke up the same time when Kesar called out to her.

He stood there as if he just hung onto outlive the last few moments until her window opened and he got one glimpse of her through the window. And why did she have to put that Pallu on her head in the middle of the night after realizing its Kesar. Was she scared he might force himself on her through the window???

He tried his level best to pacify her, first so softly requesting to come home, crying his heart out, folding hands yelling out, promising to listen to whatever she might say, and admitting his madness, OH!!!!What not. He is still not certain why she has started to hate him, why she is doing this to him. He at least deserves to know why, why can't she just tell him.

Oh Kesar, chanting Gulaal's name 22 times between the 4 minutes conversation, Great!!

HRH Gulaal did not budge. She shut the door close on his face. I was thankful he was a safe distance away from the window or else he would have been slapped. Well I expected that but wonder how she slept after that. Morning she has some feeling in her mind that there is every possibility of finding him there that she checked on him.

Seeing Kesar so haggard and sleeping sitting on the ground, any normal woman would melt. I can understand her inability to accept the relationship but I can't understand her way of treating him so worse.

KESAR AND REWA

The fatigued sleep was also disturbed by his sister. There was a sudden realization of the surrounding, a quick embarrassment with a continued guilt when she mentions that he should have thought about Motaba's honor. He knows he was wrong but then that is what makes him Kesar: Impulsive. He gave a yearning look at her when she too scolded him for not considering his sister's honor in her in-laws place. That one look at his sister had a craving, seeking some sort of understanding from his sister, but again that woman also failed him labeling him childish. Everybody brands him childish, can someone care to help him mature. No, all are busy in their problems

He gave one last look at the closed window, the window to the house and the window to her heart was sealed shut.

Kesar, painfully he resigned himself to that reality.

KESAR AND JK

Whatever are her intentions, at least Jamna Kaki could tell it to Pannba that before losing Kesar entirely, help him out. Kesar avoided Pannba's question but he was surprised when Jamna Kaki asked he was returning from Gulaal's place.

Unable to give an answer he walks in.

KESAR AND DUSHYANT

Kesar recollected the past night's events. It was a very powerful scene between Kesar and Dushyant. What I loved about Kesar is that though he has kept the truth away from family for Gulaal's sake, he has just not forgiven Dushyant in spite of him ruling the panchayat decision in his favor. He never felt obliged to him, one because he still cannot forgive him for the act and second he believed in the truth about his feelings for Gulaal and his Deeyarvatu.

He realized Dushyant standing at his door, but did not bother to look up. He did not react when Dushyant sat next to him. When Dushyant spoke about Talli, he listened intently and closed his eyes acknowledging the mistake, when he spoke about the panchayat decision, Kesar was silent and sat there trying to ease his breathing and controlling his emotions. When he mentions about hurting Gulaal, he starts to get emotional but got up from there to show his unwillingness to discuss this issue with Dushyant. He made it clear that he did not go to prove a point but falls short of saying that he went out of love because it was Dushyant in front of him. Probably he was reminded about the love Dushyant had for Gulaal.

Kesar was sure of one thing. He did not want an advice from Dushyant in this matter.

Thanks Meysimi
All i can say is that Gulaal seems to have shut off responding to Kesar esp in front of him or even stepping forward towards him, even though it does effect her in a way, but she closes that off as we saw
She isnt even taking in at all of Kesar any other feelings and any form at all, ok forget the love confession but what about the Kesar as a person, atleast i guess care for that
Ziddi are both Gulaal and Kesar in their own way lol
I like the D and Kesar scene, and yeah he does say he didnt go there to get something but went out of love, but he didnt finish that as we all know it was D, but i do find that D gave him a good advice in a way.. but we know Kesar isnt gonna listen to him as such
All i can say is Kesar needs to get a grip of himself, coz to other ppl it looks like he is doing what other ppl are saying, creating a tamasha, paagalpan, immature, childish etc - thats how it looks to anyone let alone Reva and other ppl, and while we all know Kesar's emotions and feelings he doesnt hide, he lets it out...
As i said i liked the soulful connection that was created in the first few secs at the start, thats what it seemed

The show scenario

Why didn't Gulaal's parents go have one look outside their house? They should have called him in rather than letting him scream out in the dark.

Gulaal even after reading Kesar's letters, even after knowing the fact that for her sake he has not yet declared about Dushyant to family, still feels Kesar's interest in her has started now because of his proximity to her. Or did she mean the bonding that has been for the past 10 years is confusing. Does she really believe that few days of staying away is going to help him forget what he believes in.

Gulaal can see Talli's pain when she is hale and healthy and not Kesar's pain. Very strange.

Gulaal and Talli reacted to Kesar as if he was interference or an intrusion to their otherwise happy reunion. Come on they have stayed away from each other for two days.

Brilliant post meysimi👏

I seriously want to ask a question that is this the same gulaal who cudn't bear when kesar was angry with her or who ran after the jeep when he was leaving for boarding school...or whose whole life revolved around him after vasant's death...Is it so difficult for her to sit with him and make her stance clear...and not merely avoiding him...the Greatest drawback of gulaal is she hides and avoids which is actually the opposite with kesar...this guy comes with his point straight across...BTW both headstrong and as I ve said in my other posts awwal darje k ziddi😆

Yeah Lennie,
Both are ziddi in their own way. But Kesar has a reason but Gulaal is not willing to listen to him. But Kesar is willing to know her version. He is willing to do anything for her. Kesar is stubborn for he loves her and is willing to sacrifice anything for her to just be home. Whereas she wants everyone right from the panchayat, Kesar, Talli, Motaba,Pannba, Poonamba, Revjibhai, Rewa and everybody to understand her and behave according to her. This is not a virtue. As long as they nod in affirmative to all that she says because she is damn sure it is right, all is well. The one who revolts gets treated the way Kesar is. I am okay with her single minded devotion to Vasant but not okay with the way she treats all, especially Kesar
@Piyu,
Thanks yaar. Kesar is headstrong in seeking his love.Gulaal is headstrong to make it work the way she wants. I feel its more of an ego hassle for her when it comes to Vasant's memories.

loved those lines...actually Gulaal is hell bent on making everybody realize her POV but kesar is different...I am liking the fact that he took it as challenge and goes to the panchayat..that's a good way to knock some sense in ziddi Gulaal's head...

Kesar would not have gone to do this. When all the means to bring her back failed, he is seeking panchayat intervention. Now that it has reached panchayat, willing or not, the Hukka Paani bandh issue would come up. Gulaal will be Galooolll now.

While I'm writing this, Manasi and Neil are advertising the IIFA awards on TV 😍

We agree on another thing [;) Kesar screams reaching Gulaal was definitely to show a soul connection and I just found the whole cinematography of the scene simply STUNNING! I love how they showed it.

Kesar has tried everything to reason with Gulaal and the fact that nothing is getting to her only frustrates his vulnerable mind more. His soul is screeching out to her, he craves her so much that he loses all logic.

I knew he wouldn't listen to Dushyant but maybe in the future he well as D speaking from experience would know that forcing anything on Galool never works.

Although I didn't say anything, I love all your post. You bring out Kesar in such a way even without watching the episode we could feel Kesar. Well done. I loved all the scenes you decribed. Was really good.

You are right, all woman in his life has shutdown on him. The truth is no one can actually say anything to him as I don't think anybody knows him or could justify anything to him except in a way JK. She is the only support of Kesar at the moment for her own reason. It is the same with Gulaal, no one can say anything to her as everyone I think understands her, again except JK.

Why didn't Gulaal's parents invite Kesar inside? Is it that they want him to have a chance to pacify Gulaal at least this way?

Yeh how did she went to sleep? It could have been better if they showed her feeling for Kesar in anyway like guilt or hurt or anything.

Are you serious? Did you really count those 4 minutes?

Maybe JK and PB convo might have a reaction on PB in coming episode. Although for all the different reasons JK was right in asking why she doesn't understand her own son?

Like everyone else I am also eager to see the matured, cool headed Kesar's side soon. The one Gulaal will learn to respect. He got it in him toh
