I am not too happy with the orthodox mentality of the families
especially Anant's family. They are so backward in their
thinking ...I doubt such people exist in real life.
I mean they are choosing a girl for Anant and he can't even tell his opinion.
His opinion should matter too. i mean he is marrying the girl.
Anant's happiness does not matter????
If he not happy marrying Shagun, why should he?
He should have the freedom to express his opinions.
Okay even if they don't support love marriage, he should
at least have a right to choose the girl he wants through
arranged marriage.of course in the end I really want
anant to fight his way through everything and
declare his love for Navya and tell his family what he wants.

Another thing I notice people can't even express what they feel in the house.
If someone speaks out it is considered as disrespect.
Nimmi spoke out to Bua dadi and she got upset.
She did not say anything offensive at all.
The elders are all control freaks and suppressing all the younger
people in the house. younger people in the house are just puppets.😡

Also , anant is unconscious and they don't take him to the hospital
Whoever does that.??Are we living in the 15th century over here.😕

Also, how can they get Nimmi engaged at such a young age.
Nowadays, most ladies complete their studies and start
working before they consider marriage. of course,
there is no chance of any lady working in this serial... EVER.

I actually find the show pretty comical because it pretty amusing
to see the weird mentality of everyone.
Anya chemistry rocks though!!😊

I don't mean to offend any of the Navya fans but I just have to
express what I feel. The serial is not realistic.

Anant's family is CRAZILY orthodox. But I don't think it's that unrealistic. I can think of people I know that are quite orthodox...maybe not as much as Anant's gharwale...but still very orthodox all the same.

What really got to me was the fact that the elders wouldn't let him take any modern medicines. Like...seriously?! In this day and age, you're not going to let him take medicines like Aspirin?! Ranbir was right - "Hadh hoti hain, yaar!"
