Dil Se Diya Vachan to go off air..

Dil Se Diya Vachan to go off air..

Zee TV has now taken the decision of axing Dil Se Diya Vachanwhich presently occupies the 7 PM slot..

Zee TV and Filmfarm India's Dil Se Diya Vachanwhich offered a different take to the relationship of a mother-in-law and her daughter-in-law will go off air in the first week of April. The latest is that Hats Off Productions' upcoming show on the trials and tribulations of kids in an orphanage, 'Choti Si Zindagi' will be getting the 7 PM slot.

Our source states, "Dil Se Diya Vachan failed to garner TRPs at the early evening slot. The decision of Neena Gupta to quit the show, due to her ill health was indeed a setback to the entire team, especially because she was one of the pillars of the story line. It was the decision of the channel to wrap up the show. Dil Se Diya Vachan is expected to wind up on April 2nd".

When contacted, Gaurav Khanna the protagonist said, "Yes, we have also heard that the show is ending".

We tried contacting Producer Pintoo Guha but he was not reachable.

Producer J.D. Majethia seemed clueless about the slot that his show was due to get and said, "Currently I am not sure about the time slot, as I am given to understand that there are three time slots in consideration, of which the 7 PM slot is also one. I have also heard the buzz, but I am yet to receive any official word from the channel".

As per our source, Choti Si Zindagi will launch on April 4th at the 7 PM slot on Zee TV..

We tried contacting Sukesh Motwani, Fiction Head, Zee TV but could not get thro' to him.

Neena to be bumped off in TV show

The deep love and bonding between the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law in the serial Dil Se Diya Vachan is going to end soon.

Sources say that Neena Gupta, who plays the mother-in-law in the show, will be bumped off soon. And that's because the production house and channel are fed up of Neena's uncooperative ways. Well, whether you call them tantrums or demands by a veteran actress, the bottomline is that Neena is going to be out of the serial soon.

"Right from the start, she told the crew that she will not work for more than six to eight hours in a day. They requested her to put in more hours for which she would be paid but she refused," reveal sources. The actress had a back problem and the creative team apparently helped by altering the track and putting her character on bedrest. But they later found out that she had gone to Goa for a vacation despite the back problem!

Neena, on her part, rebuffs the allegations. "My back started giving me problems since last month and so the decision to end my track was a mutual one. They wanted more drama in the serial and my exiting will be a part of that."

Dil Se Diya Vachan to have a happy ending..

Dil Se Diya Vachan to have a happy ending..

Zee TV's Dil Se Diya Vachan will finally see the union of Prem and Nandini...

All is well that ends well, and Zee TV and Filmfarm India's Dil Se Diya Vachan is headed for a happy ending!!

As reported by TellyBuzz earlier, Hats Off Productions' Choti Si Zindagi will launch on 4th April with Dil Se Diya Vachan winding up on April 2nd.

On the ending, our source states, "Nandini (Vandana Joshi) will be proved innocent; Krushna (Ajay Chaudhary) will land in jail. Nandini who has been forced to live in her maayka will go thro' her real Bidaai wherein she will move out of Govind's (Ayub Khan) place and enter her sasuraal. Prem (Gaurav Khanna) and Nandini's union will finally happen. Nandini will be accepted by one and all in the family including Urmila (Ashlesha Sawant). All will join together in getting Prapti (Neha Narang) married".

We contacted Vandana Joshi and she confirmed, "Yes, right now we are shooting for the Bidaai chunk where Nandini leaves with Prem to her in-law's place. It's a very sad feeling that the show is going off".

As we bid adieu to Dil Se Diya Vachan, let's hope the new show brings in some freshness..

When DID changed my life…

A page from the personal diary of Vandana Joshi

When I started realising my dreams, I knew dancing is what I want to do. It is my passion and in the process of making it come true I joined a dance company and travelled to Moscow and other places. My ultimate aim was to participate in Dance India Dance. However, my parents were not very supportive of my decision. I know I wasn't meant for a 9 to 5 job. Even when DID happened, my parents weren't too happy with it. But later as the show progressed, after I was appreciated for my dance my parents understood and their attitude did change. From being totally negative about my choice, they are now ready to shift base to Mumbai just for me.

During DID, Dil Se Diya Vachan happened. I had never given a thought to acting. But I am an opportunist and never fail to seize any opportunity that comes my way. So I grabbed the offer with both my hands. I changed base from dancing to acting. I remember during my shoot there were several incidents that happened that make my journey even more memorable. Before I joined the show I used to sleep a lot, at least for 8-10 hours. In fact there was a time when we shot for 32 hours continuously without sleep. This was the marriage sequence.

That was the phase when I rediscovered myself. I realised that I can survive without sleeping too. But I do attribute most of it to the team of Dil Se Diya Vachan. We had a lot of fun during the shot. We ate a lot, played dumb charades to keep ourselves awake. There was nothing else that we could do too. There was so much stress but we had to think of some way to keep ourselves alive and kicking. I can never forget that time. I never thought I could survive it all. I am very happy with my decision, though dancing was my passion, I enjoy acting as well. Now that the show is ending, it's a sad feeling. I have learnt a lot from the show. I don't mind continuing with acting because I enjoy it. Acting is fun and I am also grateful to the team for being so supportive. I can't believe the show is ending and I am upset about it. Right now, I am just happy with acting and hope to carry it forward.

Mihir Mishra meets with an accident.

Mihir Mishra

Mihir Mishra is not going to forget the World Cup final in a hurry. Not for the super performance by the men in blue, but because the actor met with an accident on that joyous night when he was coming back after watching the final match. Ayub Khan accompanied Mihir to watch the match and dropped him half way home from where he took an auto rickshaw. Mihir fell off the auto and injured his right leg.

Mihir says, "I was returning after watching the final match and the roads were jammed. There was traffic and my auto driver was drunk. The auto skidded, I fell on the road and the rickshaw fell on my right leg. Fortunately, I don't have a fracture but I have torn my ligaments and there is a bad wound. I am still recovering. But, I must mention it was Ayub Khan who rescued me and he was there all the time helping me."

We wish Mihir a speedy recovery.

Vandana Joshi has a tough time dancing after a break...

Vandana Joshi has a tough time rehearsing for dance after a long break and following her illness...

Vandana Joshi is all set to set the stage on fire with Zee TV's Dance Ke Superstars. But the dancer is having a tough time getting into the groove of moves as she is back to dancing after a long gap and also because of her illness.

When contacted Vandana, she confirmed her presence in the show and says, "Yes I am entering Dancing Ke Superstars with Parvez. After I started shooting for Dil Se Diya Vachan, I hardly got time to dance and, a show like Dance Ke Superstar demands great energy and potential. I really had a tough time with the prolonged rehearsals as I was dancing after a break."

"Also I have been suffering from Stomach infection from the past few days and the doctor had advised me not to dance. But I wanted to be part of the show very badly and hence gave a good performance. Though I got good comments from the mentors, I know that the 'wow' factor was missing. But next time I will definitely give my best", she adds.

We wish Vandana all the very best.

...But I love you Daddy!

June 19 will be a special day for fathers across the globe. It is the day when the world will celebrate Father's Day. Close your eyes, think of your father and try to script the bonding between you two. Oftentimes, when you want to write about a very important person in your life, with whom you have shared so many special moments, you may find yourself deceived by words, struggling to filter out details or find phrases wrapped in emotions. You will find it almost impossible to express your feelings as you know that no amount of words can match the contribution of this superhero in your life. Your father might not have jumped off a cliff to save you, or swung around New York city wearing a chic costume, but he is the one who infused faith and love in you when existence seemed nothing but a battle.

Father-child relationship is all about innumerable khatti-meethi yaadein. TV stars share one loving and one annoying quality in their pappas.

Gaurav Khanna
My dad has never forced me to do anything. He has never ever nagged me. He gave me the liberty to explore myself and defended all my decisions. He is a great friend, philosopher and guide.

One thing that annoys is his habit of procrastinating when it comes to painting. He is a superb painter but somehow he doesn't want to paint. I want him to paint more.
