Karan Tacker is an Indian Television actor and host. He started his career on the silver screen by hosting Star Sansaar on Star Plus. He then starred in the hugely successful show on STAR One-Love Ne Mila Di Jodi, which tells the story of three brothers and sisters, where he played the character of Sameer Saxena. Sameer is the Casanova of the three brothers. Older brother Prithvi (Gaurav Khanna) & younger brother Varun (Dishank Arora) He is a charmer, boisterous and happy. He is also bright and has all ideas for everything. He wants to make it big with the least bit of effort. Loves his brothers, but he thinks they are both too nave.Sameer hurts Avni and to make her happy he marries Avni without anyone knowing about it. He played opposite Perneet Chauhan The show used to air on STAR One.
Karan is currently portraying the role of "Shantanu Khandelwal" in Yash Patnaik's Rang Badalti Odhani which went on air on STAR One from 5 April 2010.
