The love triangle is definitely headed for an end - but in my opinion the issues hitherto were quite solvent, the real conflict shall begin here on. Kesar's real problem with Gulaal is not Talli in between, not Dushyant as he misled himself into believing, but Gulaal herself, and the existence and place of Vasant in her life - till date. Changing the perspective her mind has held onto all these years is what the real battle will be about - and although Gulaal would be capable of giving her very life to Kesar if she saw it as the one means to make peace in his life again, the only thing she isn't prepared to give him, is his precise and only expectation of her.
Its going to be quite the journey, and the interesting twist in the tale is how Gulaal doesn't have the usual qualms here - she's not going to deny Kesar her rights as a wife because of what the world will say, but because in heart of hearts, she has never really been in that place, and not for a second thought of it like that!
That said - wherever the Kesar Gul bond goes from here, will be interesting to watch - I honestly hope the CVs have a plan, and the plan does not remotely involve anything cliche and unrealistic like bringing Vasant back from the dead. they have their own demons to fight - without needing Vasant to appear in person - and I hope that is how the track shall proceed.
Btw, great post Len!
