Fear always arises due to uncertainty about the future.

I have seen that the more exams and tests you give, the less fear you have of them. Thats because once you practice giving so many exams, there is less uncertainty about the format of a paper and its questions.

Generally, I never think of how much my exam is worth, etc - that just makes me more tense. I do my best and let the rest happen.

A little bit of fear is actually good to have - it pumps you up and sends an ardelanine rush. This may help you write well. But, too much fright is not good; you should not blank out.

i know what you mean about adrenaline!! my problem is that i tend to do night before revision so im totally freaked out that i havent revised everything😳

my night before plan used to work perfectly but since i started college, the work load increased and the night before revison plan failed so i started getting panic attack😕 watch out for the people!! especially during an exam- it can make or break you, even if you have revised

I meant, is it easy for your Dad to memorize things accurately? E.g. He reads a page once and he memorizes it?

That may explain why he does not have so much exam fear. 😊

May be.. depends on his interest of which book which page he is reading 😊 .. But in his school/college/university days... it was sort of a 50-50 colaboration of good teachers and his memory in his gold medals. Papa always mentioned his sincere teachers, which now seem to be extinct according to him . Besides that he also feels that nowadays the syllabus of every subject is so enormous that its near to impossible to implement the same study strategy he used to have in his times. papa told me that he only used to study just 1 hour at home, and the rest of the day he used to play and hang around with friends. His teachers were strict, sincere and loving and whose behaviour made him study.
