i guess this won't happen because that it will be against the theme of the story...they will have to face the problems in their families and then they will have to prove their new thinking of today's generation!!

Eloping is just a cop out, they should make their elders understand its ok to have family values, principles and everything but its not a crime to fall in love. The elders need to realize getting children married to someone of their choice does not mean their family beliefs will be passed on to all the future generations to come.
Falling in love does not mean you've given up on all your family traditions and your upbringing, sometimes there has to be a compromise made between all the generations!!
