^ He did. Even in an interview few months back, he mentioned that he respects National Awards along with those regional ones that he attends. Did TZP win him a best actor or director award? I do think that NA is over and out for him.
National Awards lost its credibility when some of the mainstream actors won. One regional actor even refused to accept the award. It has its ups and downs but this year the winners are appreciated by many. Anyway, Aamir Khan thinks too much. I get him though. :)
Last year, many thought that Udaan had better chance than Peepli Live at The Academy. This year if Stanley Ka Dabba (it stood its ground and got appreciation from everyone including the President) or some other small film/regional film represents India then Aamir might take Dhobi Ghat as an independent film. Or maybe it's curtains for his Academy dreams too.
