I figured out how to please the masses!!... I will write a short summary of today's episode for the people on the go & my usually extremely detailed essay đ for everyone else!! đ
Yesterday Jenny went all 'I don't care anymore' on Parag & Parag didn't like it. Laxmi found out the Ragini/Suraj truthđ˛ & totally flipped out. Suraj getting all annoyed over Laxmi's words said he wanted a divorce.đĄ
Summary of today
Suraj asks for a divorce and says he wants to marry Ragini.đĄ Laxmi goes home to find a surprise birthday partyđ. Her father arrives too. Suraj & Laxmi have an awkward cake cutting moment. Throughout the episode there lots and lots of flashbacks shown.
Todays update in detail....
The episode starts with the end of the last episode where Suraj is telling Laxmi he loves Ragini & that he has decided to give her a divorce. Flashbacks of the wedding are shown but everything is happening in reverse. Laxmi is shocked. Suraj says and I want to marry Ragini. Laxmi slowly walks backwards and then walks off. Suraj shouts "Laxmi" and is about to run after her when Ragini grabs his hand. Suraj says "Ragini I have to get Laxmi home safely, I'm sorry Ragini I have to go" and runs off after Laxmi. Ragini is stood in the water watching them both run away. I think she is smiling (picture quality not very clear here). Laxmi falls as she's walking. Suraj comes up behind her shouting "Laxmi" He says I will take you home, going home by yourself is not safe. Laxmi shrugs him off and gets into a taxi and leaves. Suraj is left standing.
Minny & her mum are both watching and Minny says Laxmi's gone & I will go talk to Suraj. Her mum says no point running after Suraj we will see Laxmi's horror at home, It be fun.
Laxmi is in the taxi and she's having lots of flashbacks of Suraj. 1st flashback was of when Suraj first told her he had no girlfriend & that because of his job he has to work with different women. The second was a flashback of when Suraj was pretending to be stuck in a tree trying to get Imli for Laxmi. The third was when Suraj was trying to impress Laxmi and was helping the old lady with sticks & putting cow dung on the wall. The forth was when Suraj brought a flower for Laxmi & told her he lost hope that she would agree for the marriage. The final being when Suraj told her he decided he wanted a divorce. Laxmi's quietly crying in the car.
Laxmi steps into the house and has flashbacks of when she first entered the house. The flashback is in reverse again. As she walks into the house she remember Suraj's words of how he married her using his brain & his heart loves Ragini, also that he wanted a divorce. Laxmi looks like she doesn't know what to feel. She steps forward and flowers fall from above. The family enter from all directions of the house and start singing happy birthday. Laxmi smiles, Minny's brother says Laxmi bhabhi, sorry Sona Laxmi Bhabhi. Kaveri asks the whereabouts of Minny and her mum. Who come up behind Laxmi and say were here. Minny's mum says Laxmi we were looking for you at the resort and you came home we got scared that you got lost. (but they decided to come home instead of looking for her or calling home to see if she was theređ... someone call her out!!đĄ). She says anyways how did you like, the surprise. Kaveri says that's due to our children they wanted to make your first birthday here remembered. Mahen says Laxmi I'm not your wrong friend, I wanted to give you a big surprise. He goes look there. They all turn and from behind the door appears Laxmi's dad holding her goat. Laxmi smiles slightly still looking shocked she walks up to her father and hugs him she starts crying. Minny and her mum are talking and her mum says our work is done it doesn't matter if Laxmi cries foerver or goes back to her village. Laxmi is still crying hugging her father. Her father wipes her tears and says child, they say after marriage the woman is born again & today is also your birthday (the family are all watching Mahen is making a recording). Her father gives her a present of 2 rings and says take it as a blessing. Laxmi asks the reason for the presents. Her father replies that he was suppose to give them after the pag phere and because that didn't happen he brought them today. One ring is for her and one for Suraj. Laxmi still looks shocked. Her father says they maybe 2 rings worn by two different people but they are like one, so you both can be like one too. Her father says when Suraj arrives give him this ring yourself. Laxmi's eyes start watering, Mahen is still making a recording. The family all look happy. Her father says I brought one other important thing & takes out a Tiara/Sehra type thing and puts it on her head. The family all laugh a little. Her father says in her childhood Laxmi used to be stubborn and say on her birthday that she wanted a flower tej. Laxmi looks like she's about to cry again. The family says with this tej on your head you look like Mrs. Dharigham. Laxmi smiles and then takes her tej off and tries to stops herself crying. Hurshuk says you have installed good habits into you daughter and that why we call her sanskaar Laxmi. Laxmi looks down her father says she got those habits when she became the daughter in law of this house. Laxmi slowly looks up at her father as her father says I thank god that Suraj held my daughters hand. Laxmi looks shocked, then Ba says what you said is true. Laxmi looks at Ba and then everyone bar Laxmi and her father walk away. Laxmi looks at her father again who is looking up as if he is thanking god and then back at her in laws. Everyone freezes and Laxmi walks around her in laws and says. "What shall I say, how shall I say it that it was Suraj's plan for which he held my hand. Here everyone is joining their own happiness with my happiness. It's not the family's fault that Suraj did this. By saying the truth I don't want to turn their happiness into sorrow. I can't do this".
Suddenly a hand appears on Laxmi's shoulder, it's Kaveri. She asks Laxmi what she's thinking about & if she's alright. Laxmi nods and say yes. Kaveri says you look tired. If you're not feeling well then go rest. The rest of the family say not today the rest of the day were going to have fun. Kaveri says well let her change first & then says go change and whilst you're getting ready I'll call Suraj and tell him to get home quickly. Upon hearing Suraj's name Laxmi facial expression changes and she looks upset again. Kaveri calls Randar and says dress her like a new bride. Laxmi fake smiles and they both go up. Laxmi father looks worried and calls out to Laxmi and then says what's wrong, why can't I see any happiness in your eyes.
Shubna says it's because of Suraj, because he's not at home. If the one who you're planning on spending the rest of your life with leave you then you're going to feel pain (talk about twisting the dagger in deeper!đĄ) She says don't worry Suraj should be on his way, he won't leave his wife alone on her birthday now would he. She gives Laxmi the bag of Sari's and says go up. Shubna walks of and so does Laxmi. Laxmi's father doesn't seem convinced & looks even more worried.
Randar and Laxmi arrive in the room and Randar says everyone is doing so much for you including Shubna kaki. Laxmi is sitting on the bed, she drops her bag & is in her own world as Randar is talking about Suraj and what he must have brought for her as a present and how pretty the sari's are. She shows Laxmi the sari who, looks at it with no expression. Randar says I'm going to dress you like a new bride Suraj will be mesmerised. Laxmi is still sitting there with the same sad expression.
Laxmi is now sitting in front of the mirror looking at the 2 rings her father gave. Randar is dressing her up & saying you are very lucky that the whole family loves you and you have Suraj who looks after your happiness so much, this is all the sign of a married woman. Laxmi drops the ring meant for Suraj and looks in that direction. The calendar is there and Randar see it and smiles saying however impatient you were for this day it's become more special than that. Randar says you have gotten everything in life. Laxmi with tears in her eyes remembers Suraj's words about wanting a divorce. She touches her sindoor and remembers Suraj saying he wanted to marry Ragini and then (In flashback mode) remembers herself smiling whilst seeing herself in her married avatar in the mirror. Back to now, she looks down to stop her tears.
Hurshuk goes up to Kaveri and says why has Suraj not come yet. Kaveri says I talked to him he must be on his way. Randar and Laxmi arrive downstairs. Ba asks Randar the where about of the cake whilst Parag asks the where about of Suraj. Mahen says look good boys he's come. Laxmi looks at Suraj slowly entering. Laxmi father goes up to Suraj and says I feel better now I've seen you. Suraj smiles and then looks over at Laxmi whose staring at him. Hurshuk tells Suraj to stand next to Laxmi. Suraj stand next to her and looks at her. Laxmi looks in the opposite direction at Kaveri and smiles. Shubna thinks to herself Laxmi won't be able to hold it in any longer she'll tell the whole truth herself, look at her poor face.
Everyone tells Laxmi to cut the cake. Parag tells Suraj to hold Laxmi's hand and cut the cake together. Laxmi looks shocked like she doesn't want to it, whilst Suraj looks at Laxmi waiting for her to move first. Laxmi looks at Suraj and everyone says hurry up. Laxmi reluctantly move her hand forward whilst Suraj holds it, neither look at the other. Laxmi blows out the candles and then Minny's brother says Suraj bhai feed Bhabhi the cake. Suraj stares at him whilst Laxmi looks down. Minny says yeah that's how love blossoms. Randar says first tell us what present your giving Laxmi. Suraj looks at Laxmi like doesn't know what to do & says I forgot to get a gift. Shuba's husband says don't worry by loving your wife your giving her the best gift in life. Parag says that true and today Suraj will give Laxmi that same gift. Suraj looks annoyed whilst Laxmi looks as if she's really trying to hold her tears back. Parag says that today I want Suraj to fill Laxmi's maang and thus declare his love for her. Laxmi looks at him in shock as does Suraj. Everyone else is smiling. Suraj looks at Laxmi who is looking forward. Flashbacks shown of Suraj asking for a divorce & saying he wants to marry Ragini
Precap: Suraj picks up some Sindoor whilst Laxmi looks at him. He moves his hand forward slowly and stops near her head. There's an eyelock between the two.
Episode was ok today but way to many flashbacks were shown!!...
