I agree. Sudha's transformation as shown is very unrealistic - anybody who saw Jyoti, there, Sushma, who was also abused, was a lot more realistic. Initially, she was homebound and pretty nervous of everything, and to make things even uglier, she was pregnant. She had to re-enter school, sit for her exams and went through a lot. She made a deal w/ a family to adopt out her baby once born, and that script was going fine, until the destructives wote one of the worst scripts in TV history by re-uniting her w/ her abusive hubby.

In fact, even Bharti's behavior is pretty inexplicable. I can understand Bharli's fans who've decided to check out their brains and just root for the jodi, w/o examining whether both of them really love each other, or are just fulfilling a dead man's wish. In fact, the argument Murli gave Bharti about people not being in love in arranged marriages was only partially right in that the love sometimes does develop, but in this case, Bharti knows it didn't. So why did she agree to go back to him, especially as she pointed out, he was capable of keeping his promises to her father w/o marrying her.

Note that this has nothing to do w/ whether Murli should go for Sudha. I agree w/ Vik Rocks some months back when she argued that marriage was not the right decision for Murli, since he was trying to complete his degree and get a job. The reason Murli married Bharti was Gau's scheming, but here was a very good opportunity to undo that and get back to putting his life back together, maybe w/ his new start-up business. Murli would have done well to let this divorce go thru, and then either start his business (after all, Rupesh has left him w/ half the business regardless of whether or not he marries Bharti). So Murli should have just taken that and either sold that share to Bharti and w/ the proceeds, started his tent-house business, or else, be a partner in Bharti sweets only. But be maritally independent, and don't let Gau dictate who he marries or not.

If Sudha's brother will come & take her back, looks like her cameo role will be over b4 long. Maybe Amit too will have a role similar to Bhushan, and not much more (incidentally, the episode where Bharti wanted to make her business global was somewhat ridiculous - this isn't a KFC or McDonalds where you can just do the same things in the UK or UAE - there are a lot more issues involved, which would be too much to handle for just one person, be it Amit, Bhushan, Murli, et al.

So sorry, I don't really see this serial getting better, given the dropped & wasted opportunities. If after this wedding, they try showing Surli or Amarti, it'll look like the sets of Melrose Place, and if they instead show Gau trying to get back control of the entire family property, it'll be another saas-bahu flick. Incidentally, I'm amazed that she's being allowed such a major role still, since it was her scheming that ultimately killed Lalaji. I want her to rot in jail alongside Prakash and FF, not be making new plots to marry Jhumroo together (something I'm incidentally for, since those 2 love each other, but certainly not as a part of a Gau sazish package.)

Let's see what happens going forward. 🤔

I don't even know why I'm bothering with this to be honest. I know exactly what I'm going to get. I've even self-lobotomised myself this time around to lessen the pain...but it still hurts my brain!
Only popped along to see what was happening after months. Not sure if I'll bother anymore to be honest. But will defo pm you if and when this forum closes 👍🏼, so I know you're still around.
