I agree with your point, but I disagree with what you said about Karisma.

Karisma has had her share of success. Kareena still has a lot more to learn. The better actress (in my opinion) is Karisma. I don't necessarily believe that Kareena achieved more success than Karisma. There was a point when Karisma also received her share of success. The generation has now changed and we don't tend to see actresses much on screen after marriage. No doubt Kareena has had her share of success too, but she still has a long way to go in her career. She's far from where Karisma was. The better actress will always remain Karisma for me! She had that natural acting in her. I don't feel like Kareena has it. She's frankly overrated to me. But going back to your statement Karisma too has received her share of success, much more than Kareena in my opinion.

Good topic, I've noticed this too. Shilpa's sister can be added to the list too, Shilpa had more luck in Bollywood than her sister did. I think part of the reason is the films they've chosen.

about karishma: she is the better actress IMO. i like kareena too but karishma is better. and like cutiepie rani said she had her fair share of success 😳

I don't think Kareena is more successful than Karishma was during her time. Karishma was also one of the top actress of her time.

But I don't think Karishma challenge herself in her career as much as Kareena. Karishma was stuck doing masala films with govinda and salman most of her career. It's during her last years in bollywood that she started doing substance roles like Fiza and Zubida. But Kareena started challenging herself early in her career...She did Chameli at a very young age and when she was fairly new in the industry. I think that's why also Kareena has more awards than Karishma because bebo took up more challenging roles than just sticking to masla roles...Omkara, Dev, Yuva, were all early in her career.


Am not gonna compare and say who is the best actress than two sisters...because that's subjective...really I don't see why we should even debate who is better. I love both sisters. And I miss karishma on screen.

It's kind of interesting though, that only kareena and karishma are the only siblings who were both successful and made a mark in bollywood. Kajol and Shilpa and Twinkle...sister's failed to make a mark. But I don't even think Twinkle was that popular to begin with.

When I heard kajol's sister was doing a film, I really thought she was gonna be good because kajol is so great!

i agreee ! karishma had to go through a lot more than what bebo did (and thats why i like her more) because lolo had no one on her side and im not saying bebo had it easy but she had it easier than lolo. just my opinion

^ Since when an actor's value measured by how many hits they give? Someone mentioned that Amitabh didn't give his first hit until giving 17 flops or something like that. Does those flops take away from the amazing actor he is? NO! And if someone gives hits and after hits, does that mean they are awesome and great actors and are not overrated? No.

Kareena might not have many hits to her name, but she is proved she is a great actress. And I respect her for that...she has talent. Anyone can give a hit. Any new comer can give a hit, but talent is rare to find. And with the kind of actors we have in the industry currently, bebo is def not overrated. She is one of the only few actress who can pull off commercial roles and off beat roles. She is versatile. It's rare to find that in Bollywood.

Maybe Karishma is a bettter actress and have more hits but Kareena has a huge fan following than Karishma.Kareena gave flops after flops for the first few years but still she had a large fan following.And now even Kareena has a lots of fans compared to her gen actresses also.
